Alison Sweeney, who played the über-popular Sami Brady for 21 years on DAYS, is returning to the show next month for an extended visit. The actress, who has had a string of successful Hallmark movies since leaving the soap, is happy she was able work a Salem return into her schedule. “From my end, it takes a little bit of logistics with projects I’m working on,” she tells Digest exclusively. “And unfortunately, this year’s been hard for me because of my knee injury, so I had to push some stuff back. So, I figured out a schedule, blocked out some time that I had available and we figured it out!
