Jackie Zeman On Her Return To The GH Spotlight

GH fans aren’t the only ones thrilled that Bobbie has been front and center during the tale of Nelle’s stealth attack on Carly — her portrayer, Jacklyn Zeman, is, too. In the new issue of Soap Opera Digest, she opens up about what it means to her to be so integrated back into the Port Charles mix. “I was wanting, for a long time, to have a storyline come up, because I wanted to be more involved,” she says. “So, I am so glad that our writers felt that way, too.” She enjoys that Bobbie was suspicious of too-good-to-be-true Nelle from the start. “The brilliance of the storyline is that Bobbie has been through it all,” Zeman notes. “which is why she was able to sniff out Nelle right away.” It’s especially meaningful to the actress that Bobbie’s return to the spotlight coincides with her upcoming 40th anniversary with the show later this year. “It is emotional to me, and to the audience.
