ICYMI: GH’s Hayley Erin (Kiki) Gives A Port Charles Tour
General Hospital: “Kiki spent a month there asleep earlier this year, and I got to wear my pajamas under my hospital gown, which was awesome. Shout-out to all the doctors who got Kiki back up on her feet! This is definitely my favorite set; it just feels very historic and iconic and makes me think about all the amazing actors that have passed through the show and all the crazy storylines that have taken place there.”
The Metro Court Restaurant: “A great place to work because they pay you to hang out with your friends and family and waitress 2 percent of the time. When I started on the show, I didn’t understand that the Metro Court was a hotel, not just a restaurant. I was like, ‘Wow, there’s a lobby below the restaurant? And you have to get in an elevator to get there?’ Then someone was like, ‘Hayley, it’s a hotel.’ ‘Ohhhhhhh! Got it.’ ”
Perks: “Perks is the hip new coffee shop in town and it comes with a wonderful mystery: What’s behind the door? Where does it lead to? Nobody knows!”
The Floating Rib: “A fun place where they try not to over-serve you, but somehow always fail. Kiki was personally arrested there, so that’s cool.”
Kelly’s Diner: “This is one of my favorite sets to work on because of all the crayons spread throughout the restaurant. If you go up for blocking and forget a pen, nobody has to know, and then your script is nice and colorful for the rest of the day! Oh, and the food is good, too [laughs].”

Pier 52: “Whether you’re getting shot like Kiki or getting a divorce, in the case of Lulu and Dante, it’s just a really good place to fight. And dispose of bodies. It’s a one-stop shop for the crime lords of Port Charles, really.”
The Quartermaine Mansion: “It’s a lovely mansion, but I always get confused because there are so many rooms that look the same. Like, there are two living rooms? I don’t get it! [Digest informs Erin that one of those rooms is the study.] Oh. My bad.”
The Port Charles Police Station: “I love the PCPD. They really try their best and it’s so cute. There are always a bunch of good-looking people in uniform in there, which is nice. I actually sit on that set a lot and go through people’s desks. I’m fascinated by all the fake paperwork.”
Crimson: “Port Charles’s very own, high-fashion magazine … with its offices in a hotel. That’s the funniest part to me — that and that only three people work there!”

Greystone Manor: “Ah, Sonny’s house. I feel like his guards would make really good waitresses at the Metro Court, because they’re always there, but somehow never really doing anything. You can just waltz on in most of the time!”
The Courtroom: “If you’re going to spend time there, you’re going to want to dress comfortably. Those pews have no lumbar support. This goes for the church, too: Wear functional clothing.”
The Haunted Star: “Kiki went to the Halloween party there last year and went there to spy on Morgan’s date with Darby. My fun fact is that it’s only steps away from the notorious pier, which keeps things very compact on the walking front.”
The Park: “I love Indoor Park! It’s really just a couple of square feet of park, and when I watch the show, I can’t believe how much bigger it looks. But my true favorite is Outdoor Park, because of the million challenges that it presents to the actors and every single crew member when we shoot outside. If you’re going to have a clandestine meeting, everyone’s go-to place is the park. However, you’re never actually alone there.”
Wyndemere: “Wyndemere is cool because I don’t understand it. It took me a while to learn that Wyndemere is a castle and that it’s on Spoon Island, but I like that it stays in the family. I’m sure little Spencer is going to turn out totally normal, having grown up there. Also, I was really impressed when Sam and Jason broke in; it was very 007.”
Volonino’s Gym: “Gotta love the boxing gym! That’s where you go when you’re fighting over a girl. Kiki went there one time to meet up with Morgan and got to see lots of attractive, shirtless, sweaty men. Fun fact: The punching bag is hanging from the ceiling of the stage and the chain it’s on is incredibly long. If you even just barely touch it, it’ll swing forever.”

Kiki’s Loft: “I have to include Kiki’s apartment on the tour because there’s a black rug under the couch where Silas was stabbed to death, and up until maybe a month ago, there was a giant blood stain on it. Every time I saw it, I thought, ‘Kiki, what are you doing, girl? You’ve got to get out of here!’ But we got new pillows, which really brightens up the place. Also, Silas’s medical books are still everywhere. They’re good for hiding your liquor.”
