GH Preview: Liz’s Rapist Returns

Comments

As GH fans saw on air, Liz got the bad news that her rapist, Tom Baker, was granted parole and released from Pentonville. Actor Don Harvey has been cast as Tom, who will be reintroduced to the canvas in the days to come. Co-Head Writer Jean Passanante says that Tom’s return came out of “looking into the history of Elizabeth and thinking about her relationship with Franco.” Co-Head Writer Shelly Altman calls revisiting Liz’s landmark 1998 rape tale “an exciting opportunity”, but assures, “We want Elizabeth to be smart, to not be a victim again — and she won’t be.” For the full story, be sure to check out the new issue of Soap Opera Digest, on sale now, and tune into GH.
