For Thursday, January 23 on General Hospital, spoilers tease that Mac gives Cody some tough love. His son has gotten into some deep trouble financially, looking for a quick fix so he can buy his former home. First he got in trouble gambling with Selina Wu, then he tried to shake down Spinelli and finally he decked Lucky at the Charlie’s relaunch. Will Mac get through to him?
Lucas and Josslyn compare notes. After all, both want to know who would try to kill Dex and the other patients with digitalis. But they still need to be careful because there is a killer on the loose. Lucas is worried about his niece. “Whatever you’re gearing up to do — don’t,” he tells her.
Felicia talks with Liz, who seems very interested in what is happening. “Why is this so important to you,” asks Felicia. Will Liz confide in Felicia about how she’s been under suspicion for the deaths at GH and who she thinks is really to blame?
Teasers say that Laura learns of a possible threat. What is going on now? Does this have anything to do with her half brother, Cyrus, being under suspicion as a killer by her own son? Is she asked for help? “I think it’s better if I’m not involved,” Laura says to someone unseen.
The party at Charlie’s is still going on and Alexis arrives there to support her daughter’s new venture. But Kristina has something on her mind. “I’m going to say this once and get it over with,” Kristina says to Alexis from behind the bar.
Things Looking Up?
Molly heads down to the holding cells to tell someone who is behind bars that she has good news for them. Is has to be Cody, right? Will he watch himself now that he’s hopefully sobered up?
Ava and Ric are once again chatting and she has a question for him. “You won’t stand by me, is that it?” she asks. He may have an answer she doesn’t expect because teasers say Ric comes through for Ava.
Elsewhere, Natalia gets through to Sonny. “We got to make sure a close call never happens again,” Brick tells Sonny, who nods in agreement.
