General Hospital Spoilers Promo Video: ‘I Can’t Stand By And Let This Go On Any Longer’

The General Hospital spoilers promo video for the week of July 21 teases that Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Willow’s (Katelyn MacMullen) wedding day has arrived — but nobody other than the bride and groom is happy about the union!

The promo opens with a tense conversation at the hospital between co-chief-of-staff Portia (Brook Kerr) and nurse Willow. “You have no idea who your fiancé really is,” a wound-up Portia bites out to Willow, who seems caught off guard by the other woman’s vitriol. How much will Portia tell Willow about her interactions of late with Congressman Drew Quartermaine?

Next, the promo flashes to Curtis (Donnell Turner), who has realized that exposing Drew and Nina’s affair may be the only way to get Portia out of the mess she’s found herself in “I’m going to fight to save you, even if it means betraying a friend,” Curtis informs his wife, as the camera cuts to a glowing Willow getting ready in the bridal suite, then to Drew (looking smug as ever), and finally the bride-t0-be, a look of concern now shadowing her face. But will Curtis go through with his idea to share Nina’s dirty little secret?

Happily Never After?

The spoilers also tease that Nina (Cynthia Watros) is not at all supportive of her daughter’s imminent wedding. “As her mother, I can’t stand by and let this go on any longer,” she declares as the camera pans to Willow checking her appearance in a mirror.

In the final seconds of the video, Drew is at the altar of All Saint’s Chapel next to officiant Lucy — with Kai (Jens Austin Astrup), Martin (Michael E. Knight), Scout (Cosette Abinante), and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) sparsely filling out the pews on the groom’s side of the church. As the guests rise and turn to the door for the bride’s entrance, the preview ends on a close-up of Drew. Will Congressman Quartermaine get stood up at the altar? Or will he and Willow tie the knot, despite the odds stacked against them?
