General Hospital Recap: Tracy Corners Jason as Anna and Valentin Agree to Face Their Past
On General Hospital on October 21, Jason (Steve Burton) made a deal with Lucy (Lynn Herring) that Tracy (Jane Elliot) quickly jeopardized, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) had a new outlook on life after her fling with a handsome stranger (Wil Traval), Anna (Finola Hughes) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) decided to face the demons of their past together, Molly (Kristen Vaganos) sought advice from Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and more. Here’s how it all went down.
Past Imperfect
Ahead of their appointment with her therapist, Anna went to Valentin’s house and announced that she’d changed her mind about having him help her in therapy, and that she even regretted mentioning it to Carly.
They moved their conversation to the couch, but Anna quickly put distance between them and moved to a chair. She explained why Dr. Nichols wanted someone from her early days with the WSB to contribute to her sessions, but she didn’t want to relive her and Valentin’s painful past together.

Valentin countered that he didn’t want to revisit their history either, but still thought it would benefit them both. “Come on, Anna,” he said gently. “Let’s do this together.” Through tears, she smiled and nodded her assent.
See You Never?
The morning after they slept together, Britt stuck around for breakfast in her mystery man’s suite at the Metro Court. When he tried to make small talk about what she did at the hospital (having pieced together that she worked there from what he observed at The Brown Dog before she cleared the room), Britt reminded him that they’d agreed to one night with no names.
Sticking to their deal, Britt and her mystery man said good-bye, with Britt assuming she’d never see him again. In the hallway, Britt grinned widely at the turn her night had taken.

Later, as Jude called the front desk to inquire about extending his stay in Port Charles, he opened his nightstand drawer to retrieve his watch — which was sitting next to a pistol.
Alien Invasion
Stella, Felicia and Elizabeth met to discuss how Britt had treated the staff at the mixer. Liz defended Britt, noting the unusual circumstances surrounding the doctor’s situation. With buzz that formal HR complaints were imminent, Stella took Elizabeth to task for trying to deal with it herself and not bringing it to her attention. The women realized they needed to intervene with Britt before they found themselves involved in an HR lawsuit.
Later, a cheery Britt arrived at G.H. with donuts from Eckert’s Bakery and apologized to a flabbergasted Liz and Felicia for her behavior the night before. Britt then met with Stella for a performance review. Stella was caught off guard when Britt sincerely acknowledged she could treat the staff better and wanted Stella’s help.

Liz and Felicia were surprised to see a gracious Britt and a dumbfounded Stella exiting the conference room. Excited to put her plan into action, Britt scampered off to offer donuts to other colleagues, and Stella sputtered to Liz and Felicia that the doctor must have been abducted by aliens.
Career Advancement
Molly told Alexis she’d received an offer from a top law firm in Chicago to practice civil law — her dream job. Molly was unsure about relocating, given that she didn’t want to leave her mother, Scout, or Cody.
Alexis advised her daughter that Cody would go with her if he wanted to and cheered the perks of the new position. Molly was still conflicted, Alexis pointed out that it was a hard decision because of the life and career Molly had built for herself in Port Charles and urged her to discuss the matter with Cody.

Cody, meanwhile, asked Tracy if he could have Thanksgiving off from work, but she said no because she needed him around to handle whatever disaster was bound to happen. Cody explained that he and Molly planned to spend Thanksgiving together with their families, and Tracy relented.
Cody then arrived to get Alexis’s feedback on bookshelves he was building for the law office. As the chat turned to Alexis hosting Thanksgiving dinner, Molly and Cody teased her about her promise not to cook anything. Cody hugged his girlfriend, assuring Alexis that he and Molly would take care of whatever was needed.

Power Play
Lucy invited Jason to Deception to apologize for the “snafu” with the documents, but he saw through the pretense and instructed her and Serena not to try to swindle him into signing over Michael’s proxy again. When Lucy asked how long she had until Tracy forced her out of her own company, Jason stood by what he’d told Serena: If nobody asked, he wouldn’t say anything.
After Jason left, Serena balked when Lucy wanted to come up with another way to get her controlling interest back before Tracy iced her out. Serena argued there was no reason anyone would ask Jason about what she’d tried to pull over on him, but Lucy was unconvinced.

Tracy called Jason to meet her at the stables, wanting an update on how he was helping to lighten Ned’s ELQ workload. She also asked how things were going with Deception, and when Jason insisted the cosmetics company was fine, Tracy warned that Lucy would make a move when they least expected it.
Jason’s lack of response led Tracy to assume that Lucy had already tried something. When Jason said he was being careful, Tracy snipped that wasn’t what she asked. Jason replied that she hadn’t actually asked him anything, so Tracy tossed out a very specific question: Has Lucy Coe tried to take control of Deception?
