Please Note Updated Day/Tiime: Catch up with Daytime Emmy Award-winning actress and director Kimberly McCullough on The Locher Room on Monday, December 9 at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT, the General Hospital alum who first captured the hearts of soap fans in 1985. It was then, at the tender age of 7, that she was cast as Robin, the secret daughter of Robert Scorpio and Anna Devane

Memory Lane

McCullough’s tenure in the role (1985-96, 1997, 1998-99, 2000, 2001, 2004, 2005-12, 2013-14, 2015-16, 2016-17, 2018, 2021; on GH: Night Shift, 2007-08) will forever be highlighted by Robin’s diagnosis with HIV as a teenager, contracted via unprotected sex with her first love, Stone Cates, who died of AIDS in 1995. The storyline received mainstream attention and was praised for bringing in-depth exposure to both illnesses, while focusing on treating people with compassion despite fears and prejudice.

Robin was also in several popular romances during her time in Port Charles. After Stone’s passing, she fell in love with Jason Morgan, then with Patrick Drake, who she would go on to marry (more than once) and with whom she welcomed two children, Emma and Noah.

In addition to McCullough’s acting work, which earned her two Daytime Emmy Awards — Outstanding Juvenile Female in a Drama Series in 1989 and the 1996 prize for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series, she has also become a powerhouse Hollywood director. She has worked on hit series like It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, Fantasy Island (where she directed former Bold and Beautiful star Kiara Barnes, who played Zoe Buckingham) and more.

The Locher Room will take a deep look into McCullough’s career on GH, the emotional and groundbreaking storylines she was at the center of at a young age, and how those experiences shaped her creative vision. Now a sought-after director, find out what led her from life in front of the camera as an actress to finding her true passion behind it. And she’ll fill viewers in on her exciting new projects in television and film.

It’s a conversation you won’t want to miss. Set your reminders and tune in live to catch up with McCullough on The Locher Room and celebrate her incredible journey.
