Kirsten Storms (Maxie, GH) took to Twitter earlier today to clarify rumors that she was off the soap, explaining that a flu temporarily sidelined her from work. Molly Burnett (ex-Melanie, DAYS), who filled in for Storms previously from July 5–July 29, 2016, briefly returned to film the two episodes Storms had to miss due to illness. Burnett will air as Maxie on June 1 and 4.
