Days of Our Lives Stars Casey Moss and True O’Brien Are Married!
Congratulations are in order for real-life and former reel-life Days of Our Lives couple Casey Moss (JJ) and True O’Brien (ex-Paige), who tied the knot on May 25 in an intimate ceremony followed by a reception with their closest family and friends. Moss shared romantic images from the day on his Instagram Stories depicting the duo wearing their wedding attire on the beach.
Forever and Always
The longtime couple has been together for a decade, having first met when they became co-stars on DAYS in 2014. Their characters began dating on the show, and allthough their reel-life relationship was short-lived — not only did JJ cheat on Paige with her mom, Eve, but Paige was subsequently murdered by the Necktie Killer, aka Ben Weston, in 2015— their portrayers kept going strong even after O’Brien was written out of the soap. After nearly a decade of dating, Moss proposed on June 2022, on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean while the two were on a hike in Malibu, CA — but it took the couple more than a year to nail down a wedding date.
“We’re not hesitant in getting married. We want to get married,” Moss told Soap Opera Digest in October 2024, noting that they were going back and forth over wedding details and locations as well as a date for their nuptials. “But I think we finally set one,” he revealed. “We were going back and for the between 9-20-25 and 5-5-25 for quite some time. I think we finally landed on 5-25-25.”
Briefly, the couple considered an impromptu ceremony while in Hawaii visiting Moss’s older brother, Justin O’Neal, an ordained minister. “I had no idea that he was officially licensed until we were out there,” Moss explained. “He was like, ‘I’ll absolutely marry you guys.’ We almost got married right then and there, but then we thought about family and everything.”
Once back home in Los Angeles, Moss and O’Brien went back and forth about whether they should return to Hawaii for a destination wedding or do something closer to home. Ultimately, they decided to say their “I do’s” in their own backyard. “It’s going to be small and intimate,” Moss shared. “I don’t want to do anything crazy, and True doesn’t want to do anything crazy. We’re just going to keep it about us and not about everyone else.”
Ahead of their wedding, O’Brien and Moss each shared photos on their Instagram Stories of a beautiful bridal shower held in their honor in April. “Thank you for a beautiful wedding shower!” the bride-to-be wrote in her Instastory. “Casey and I are so grateful to my amazing family.”
