The More The Merrier: It’s a veteran-heavy casting week as (from l.) Y&R’s Eileen Davidson (Ashley), GH’s Rena Sofer (Lois) and DAYS’s Alison Sweeney (Sami) all return to their respective canvases.

Who’s Coming

Beyond The Gates

Jason Graham (Douglas McBride): Doug’s gambling habit jeopardizes his surgical duties. You can bet Joey (Jon Lindstrom) is pushing his downfall along.

Najah Jackson (Samantha Richardson): Samantha sets her sights on modeling, with Chelsea’s (RhonniRose Mantilla) help, which causes conflict at home.

Jaden Lucas Miller (Tyrell Richardson): Tyrell suffers a humiliating blow. Will his dads, Martin (Brandon Claybon) and Smitty (Mike Manning), learn about it and help?

Bold and Beautiful

Cassandra Creech (Dr. Grace Buckingham): The actress shared the news of her return to her Instagram account, where she wrote, ” ‘Let me warm up my stethoscope.” – Dr. Grace. Grace Buckingham is back! Tune in to The Bold and the Beautiful beginning 4.4.2025 on CBS and Paramount+💥💥,” she wrote. Grace will be working on Liam’s (Scott Clifton) medical issue, which nearly claimed his life last week. Creech last appeared on the show last autumn, when she advised an ailing Taylor (Rebecca Budig).

Delon de Metz (Zende Forrester Dominguez): Zende will be involved in the drama at Forrester Creations in scenes with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Daphne (Murielle Hilaire).

Tina Huang (Melinda Trask): This week, Melinda will have some questions for her boss at DiMera Enterprises — Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) — and will also interact with Shawn (Brandon Beemer) and JJ (Casey Moss).

Kyle Lowder (Rex Brady): Rex returns to see his mother, Kate (Lauren Koslow). The last time Rex was seen in Salem was in 2023. The actor teased his return last August on social media, where he said in a video message posted on Instagram, “I’m back in a very familiar place today, and tomorrow, and the next day. Give you a hint — I’m in Burbank at a studio. I’ve been doing this a long time, but it’s been a minute! I’m excited.”

Louise Sorel (Vivian Alamain): Vivian returns to get what’s hers. Sorel’s last appearance was in 2024, when Vivian helped Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) fake that letter from Victor.

Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady): Sami, who was last seen on air back in the summer of 2022, will return to Salem to see her ex, EJ (Dan Feuerriegel), who was shot last week. She will also interact with her sister, Belle (Martha Madison), and face some tough questions from her son with EJ, Johnny (Carson Boatman). “I think those came out great,” Boatman tells Soap Opera Digest of the pivotal mother/son confrontation. “I love working with Ali. These scenes were very emotional.” Find out what Sweeney had to say about her comeback here.

Asher Antonyzyn (Danny Morgan): Look for Jason’s (Steve Burton) son to bond with the new woman in his life, Sasha (Sofia Mattsson).

Dioni Michelle Collins (Deanna Sirtis): The nurse ministers to G.H. patient — and head nurse — Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) this week.

Nanzeen Contractor (ADA Turner): The assistant district attorney has some pointed questions for Anna (Finola Hughes) this week.

Carolyn Hennesy (Diane Miller): Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) turns to Diane for counsel this week.

Lisa LoCicero (Olivia Quartermaine): Ned’s (Wally Kurth) wife is on the scene as she tries to smooth a domestic conflict inside the Quartermaine mansion.

Rena Sofer (Lois Cerullo): After slinking out of town in the wake of a blow-up with daughter Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton), Lois returns to Port Charles this week. Lois’s short-term absence was scripted to accommodate Sofer’s appearance in an upcoming movie, which she filmed alongside Tuc Watkins (ex-David Vickers, One Life to Live) and Walt Willey (ex-Jackson Montgomery, All My Children).

Viron Weaver (Wiley Corinthos): Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and her son are on the move this week.

Christopher Cousins (Alan Laurent): Alan’s return will take Traci (Beth Maitland) by surprise. Will his return also put Traci in danger?

Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott): The eldest Abbott daughter returns to get shocking news from Jack (Peter Bergman) about their sister, Traci, and Alan.

Conner Floyd (Chance Chancellor): The Genoa City lawman will have scenes with Summer (Allison Lanier), as the two finally get some closure on their on-again/off-again relationship.

Who’s Going

Days of our Lives

Tamara Braun (Ava Vitali): The actress announced her April 3 exit on social media on April 1. Realizing the timing, she insisted it was not a joke. Former on-screen son Mike Manning (ex-Charlie, now Smitty on BTG) wrote, “You were and are a beautiful light on and off the show. That wont change. ✨” Tina Huang (Melinda) added, “❤️❤️❤️ you truly are such a wonderful human being. Im deeply appreciative to have gotten to know you and your creative spirit and kind heart.” Braun first debuted as Ava in 2008, leaving that same year, a stint that won her a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress. She resurfaced in 2015 and was believed dead in 2016. She returned again to Salem in 2020 until 2022 and returned again the following year.
