Colleen Bell Lands New Job

Former B&B Producer Colleen Bell has been appointed to the post of California Film Commission Director, reports variety.com.
Bell was appointed by California Governor Gavin Newson, having worked as a consultant with the organization since 2017. Previously, she was the U.S. Ambassador to Hungary from 2014-17 under President Barack Obama.
She has held several positions at Bell-Phillip Television Productions, including producer from 2012-14, director of special projects from 2006-12, and associate producer and script supervisor from 1991-2003. Bell is the wife of B&B Executive Producer/Head Writer Bradley Bell.
Bell replaces Amy Lemisch in the position. Lemisch, who had been appointed by former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2004 and reappointed by Governor Jerry Brown, left the agency on May 10.
