Beyond the Gates: Timon Kyle Durrett Says Bill Regrets Leaving Dani
Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) is caught between two women on Beyond the Gates: his current wife, Hayley (Marquita Goings), and his ex-wife, Dani (Karla Mosley) — although this particular love triangle is a bit one-sided since Hayley is trying to murder her hubby with slow-acting poison.
In a new interview with TV Insider, Durrett discussed Bill’s feelings for Dani and the terrible mistake he’s made.
Who Does Bill Really Love?
Bill married Hayley when BTG premiered in February 2025, but it was evident that he and Dani still had a strong connection, and not just because they were co-parenting their daughters, Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) and Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla). Over time, Bill and Dani’s feelings became harder to ignore, and while trapped in an elevator during a tornado in June 2026, the pair had sex.
Despite his recent health problems, Bill remains unaware that Hayley has been slowly poisoning him to steal his fortune. But recent events have Bill examining how he landed in his current predicament. “Bill realizes that he should have made different choices,” Durrett told the outlet. “He can’t deny his feelings for Dani. He’s still smitten by her, and he sees all of this support, despite his transgressions.
“Sometimes certain circumstances will make you change your behavior, change the way you think about things, change how you view your transgressions,” the actor added, “and I think that Bill is starting to see his mistake of leaving Dani.”
Bill and Dani may bicker, but underneath their bravado lie genuine feelings that still haven’t gone away despite their marriages to other partners. According to Durrett, “They were together way longer than he’s been with Hayley and he trusts her. Hayley can’t compare to Dani with regard to how Dani has held things down for Bill.”
But while Durrett said that his alter ego “needs [Dani] now,” Hayley isn’t likely to give up her man — and the bank account in his name — without a fight. Plus, there’s the fact that despite her feelings for Bill, Dani is still trying to make her marriage to Andre (Sean Freeman) work. So Bill and Dani’s road to reconciliation could be a long and treacherous one.
