Beyond The Gates Spoilers Video Promo: ‘You Have Two Seconds to Get the Hell Out’
A Reunion
The action in the Beyond the Gates spoilers preview video for the week of August 4 opens at the Fairmont Crest Country Club, as Vernon (Clifton Davis) makes the introduction he’s been waiting to make for decades. “Ladies and gentlemen, The Articulettes,” he says as Anita (Tamara Tunie) moves to bring both Sharon (Bonita Brisker) and Tracy (Maria Howell) closer to the spotlight as applause erupts.
Crashing the event are Eva (Ambyr Michelle) and Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) — and Kat (Colby Muhammad) isn’t having it. “We’re not here to start any trouble,” Eva says, trying to diffuse the situation. “You have two seconds to get the hell out before I make you. One…” she begins, and the look on her face proves she means business. Will Eva and Leslie push things?
A New Spark?
Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) is enjoying a lighthearted moment with Ted’s (Keith D. Robinson) business partner, Dr. Carlton Fitzgerald (Robert Christopher Riley), at the country club. “What do you say we continue these laughs over dinner sometime?” he asks. But they are interrupted suddenly by Ted. “Nicole, um…” he says, clearly unsettled by what he sees.
At Ashley’s (Jen Jacob) apartment, Andre (Sean Freeman) takes her hands in his. “I know what I want now,” he begins earnestly. While they kiss, Andre can be heard saying, “I want something real, Ashley. Something with roots.” The kiss deepens quickly.
A Tragic Moment?
The scene switches to Uptown. Hayley (Marquita Goings) is clearly distraught as things spiral out of control. “Somebody help me,” she screams, with visible blood on her white blouse — as Dani (Karla Mosley) makes her way over, obviously concerned. An angry Hayley screams, “Don’t you dare touch me!”
