Beyond The Gates Spoilers Promo: ‘Bad Is Definitely Better’
Dangerous Flirtation
The action in the Beyond the Gates spoilers preview video for the week of May 19 opens with a meeting between Vanessa and Joey at Orphey Jean’s. Vanessa coyly says to the casino owner, “What can I say? When I’m good, I’m great.” Joey takes advantage of the set-up line and asks, “And when you’re bad, you’re better?” Feeling flirty, Vanessa smiles and says, “You tell me.” Unfortunately for the unhappy wife, her husband walks in at that moment and takes note of her with the man to whom he owes a small fortune. Still not seeing Doug, Joey tells Vanessa, “Bad is definitely better.” Except in this case, “bad” could end up causing a lot of trouble for Doug and Vanessa’s marriage.
A Prickly Reunion?
At the Dupree home, Anita entertains Tracy, a former member of their music group. “Don’t you remember the first rule of being an Articulate?” asks Anita as Vernon pours a cup of coffee. Anita leans in to tell her, “You don’t flirt with your sister’s man.” Always the gentleman, Vernon interjects. “Do I have any say in this?” he asks the two women. In unison, they turn to face him and say, “No.”
Trouble In Paradise?
At Ashley’s home, which she shares with Derek, she is seen giving a hug to another man. “Thanks, Andre,” she tells him. “You’re a good friend,” she adds, while it seems Derek is listening at the door. He has been jealous of Andre in the past, and he and Ashley haven’t been connecting as well as they were when they weren’t living together. Will he walk in and interrupt something?
Surprise, Surprise
Elsewhere, Leslie opens the door to find Ted on the other side of it. “Teddy Boo, what took you so long?” she asks him before flashing him a wicked smile.
