Beyond the Gates Is Preempted Two Days This Week — When Will It Be Back?

Comments

The drama in Fairmont Crest will be interrupted again this week on Beyond the Gates. The show is scheduled to be preempted on Tuesday, May 5, and Wednesday, May 6, for sports coverage of UEFA Champions League Soccer, just as it was last week.

Dramatic Pause

UEFA, the Union of European Football Associations, will be holding the second leg of its semi-final matches on May 5, when Arsenal F.C. competes against Atlético de Madrid, and on May 6, when FC Bayern Munich faces off against Paris Saint-Germain. CBS Sports coverage of those contests will preempt BTG on both of those days, but as the broadcast does not begin until 2 p.m. ET, The Young and Restless and The Bold and Beautiful will not be affected and will air in their normal time slots.

In Monday’s episode, Vernon (Clifton Davis) and Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) butt heads over Martin’s (Brandon Claybon) plans, Ashley (Jen Jacob) fills Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) in on Grayson (Jordi Vilasuso) being stabbed, Kat (Colby Muhammad) digs for information about Lynette (Dominique Madison), and Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) and Leslie (Tricia Mann-Grant) have a most unpleasant reunion.

But fans shouldn’t worry because they won’t miss a moment of the drama. Following the two days of these planned preemptions, the action will pick up again on Thursday, May 7, right where it left off.

As previewed in our Record This episode guide, Thursday will seeKat putting Bill to the test, Joey (Jon Lindstrom) giving Randy (Maurice P. Kerry) an important new assignment, Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) offering Hayley (Marquita Goings) a proposition, Grayson being chilled by Lia’s (Cecelia Specht) latest threats, and Jacob (Jibre Hordges) fearing he’s about to walk into a deadly trap and more.
