Carly told Will she’s sorry for everything, but was just thinking about the baby. And now she wanted him to think about HER babies — “What will happen to them if I go to jail?” She wanted Will to put in a good word with Gwen. When Will explained that he broke up with her, Carly urged him to reconcile. Meanwhile, Iris told Gwen not to mope over Will because “all guys are selfish, cruel and cowards,” and all she needed was the baby — and Iris. Gwen warned her she’s not sticking around after the 90 days are up. “I don’t need you, and I don’t need Will,” she spat. Iris grabbed the baby leather jacket and went to give it to Will at the diner, telling him Gwen doesn’t want to hear from him ever again. Carly listened in as Will doubted Iris’ tale of being sent by Gwen. Iris said he’s got a temper and history of violence that they don’t need around baby, then left. Returning home, she talked about bonding with family; Gwen accused her of wanting to bond with the trust fund. Gwen insisted she’ll be a better mom. When Iris left to buy pasta sauce, Carly — lurking on the porch — told Gwen what Iris did to Will. When she mentioned the “little jacket” Gwen flipped; she confessed Will got mad at her and walked away. Carly urged her to reconcile, and when Iris returned, Carly warned, “Your days of messing up our lives are over.”
At the hospital, Meg gave Holden the bad news: Neither he nor Josh is a donor ma”ch for Luke. Meanwhile, Lily met with Keith. “I’m desperate,” she pleaded. “Tell me that you can find him a kidney.” She offered to pay “$1 million, $5 million” for an organ. “I won’t forget this,” she said. “I won’t let you,” he replied. When Lily returned, Holden told her the bad news about not matching, and Lily collapsed in his arms — and that was before a frantic nurse called for a doctor. Luke was hallucinating, which the doctor insisted (in his professional opinion) was “not good,” so the family needed to “find him a kidney.” On cue, Lily’s phone rang — Keith wanted her to come to him.
Dusty warned Jennifer that Paul doesn’t have her best interests at heart — he offered to pay Gwen’s legal fees. Incredulous, Jen accused Dusty of making stuff up to be with her, and revealed that Paul explained away the payments as a way to protect the delusional Jennifer from more pain; besides, the baby remined Paul of Rosanna. “Leave me alone,” she shouted. Having Dusty suggesting conspiracies “just hurts me more.” Dusty vowed, “If you need me, I’ll be around.” Then he promptly left. He went to a bar, where he encountered Meg. She was sad about Luke, and Dusty said he didn’t want to talk or think right about now, so she suggested doing something that doesn’t involve talking or thinking — but does involve her bending over and Dusty with a length of wood… NO, you pervert, she meant play pool. But he did offer some hands-on help getting her legs in the proper stance, getting a good grip and explicit whispers to “kiss the ball.” For some reason they smooched. She pressed against him. “I don’t want to be the drink that helps you forget,” she breathed. “This is not about Jen,” he puffed. “Make me believe it,” she purred… They kissed… … …um, er… where was I? Will visited Jen and told her he broke up with Gwen. When Jen mentioned the legal fees, Will flipped. She tried to calm him, but Will insisted, “It’s not his job to play God,” and blasted Paul’s and their mother’s controlling streak. Jen said they should help each other: She suggested just the two of them go on a road trip to visit colleges for Will.
While Holden talked sports to an unconscious Luke, Keith told Lily he found a donor in El Paso. Luke could have a new kidney in 12 hours — on one condition: “Marry me.”
