Rick Springfield

Australian musician Rick Springfield made his daytime debut playing Dr. Noah Drake on General Hospital in 1981, just as he had his first No. 1 hit with “Jessie’s Girl.” He remained with the soap until 1983, and returned in 2005 in a recurring capacity until 2008, also tackling the character of Noah’s rock star double, Eli Love, in 2007 and 2008. He also reprised the role again in 2013. Springfield has continued to release albums while also appearing in television series like Californication, True Detective, and Supernatural, as well as films like Ricki and the Flash. He and his wife, Barbara Porter, have two sons, Liam and Joshua.
