Schemes and Plots

The action in this Young and Restless spoilers preview for the week of June 9 opens at the Genoa City Athletic Club. Holden is once again eavesdropping on his favorite target — the ever-calculating Audra. He spots her seated across from Victor, visible through a glass divider. “Those are some pretty exclusive invites. A private party at Aristotle Dumas’ chateau in France,” Audra notes, clearly impressed as she speaks to Victor. “It is incumbent upon you to convince Kyle Abbott to go on this trip,” Victor instructs her firmly.

A Welcome Return

At Crimson Lights, two familiar faces are standing at the counter when Daniel pops through the door. “Do I have to be on some kind of VIP list to find out my favorite rock star is in town?” Daniel jokes when he spots his father, Danny, with his lady love, Christine. The two turn to face him, their expressions lighting up with familiar smiles. What has brought the pair back to Genoa City, and could this visit last longer than expected?

Hiding A Secret

Mariah sits quietly in Chancellor Park beside Tessa, who gently encourages her wife to open up about what’s been weighing on her these past few weeks. But as with so many emotional wounds, that is far easier said than done. Mariah has already made it painfully clear to her mother that the shame she feels over her actions runs incredibly deep. “There is nothing safe in… in… in telling you about what I did,” Mariah tearfully manages to force out the words before continuing, “There is nothing safe at all.” Tessa appears both shocked by the emotional outburst and uncertain how she can help her struggling wife. Is there anything she can do to put Mariah’s mind — and heart — at ease?
