I can't believe As the World Turns and One Life to Live were the only two soaps to be nominated. That is sad. I am really nervous to see what is going to happen with the emmys. I have a feeling it might be a good thing the emmys won't be on TV because I would be yelling.

GL did not submit themselves for a WGA award. A lot of shows don't really submit for this award... They only care about the Emmys.

Ok that makes sense I guess. I have been so disapointed with the emmys for the past few years. I hope the emmys gets better. Which isn't looking well since it looks like they won't even be broadcasted!

I saw that and wasnt' surprised at all. OLTL and ATWT both tackled very real stories (Reva's cancer and Starr's pregnancy/Viki's ongoing heart implant) while the other shows tackled mobs, tornados and various other out of this world soap opera stuff.
