Back in the day, Nikki and Ashley were bitter rivals when they were both in love with the same man — Victor. But now these two get along for the most part, which pleases Jack to no end.

The married couple has been getting along famously recently, ever since Jack approved of the house renovations Diane made on the Abbott mansion. There was a time when Diane was very jealous of Jack's friendship with the woman being honored — Nikki!

Nick (Joshua Morrow) is there as well to celebrate his mother but he's also spending time with his ex-wife Sharon (Sharon Case). The two recently took a trip to see their son, Noah, overseas. Many have speculated that they are poised to reunite, but Nick has said that is not happening.

Nick and Sharon also chat it up with Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) and Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc). Things have been a bit awkward for Michael with other members of the Newman family since he quit his job as Victor's lawyer.
