Now that Y&R has cast Michael Mealor to play Kyle (who was conceived via artificial insemination and born in 2001), here’s a look back at the character's four predecessors.
In 2010, Peter Bergman (Jack) and Susan Walters (Diane) flanked Garrett Ryan, who played Kyle at 10 years old.
In 2012, Blake Hood took over the role of Kyle, now in his early 20s, who returned to Genoa City and briefly romanced Michael’s half sister, Eden (Jessica Heap). An on-camera peek at Kyle’s driver’s license listed his date of birth as 1990.
By 2013, Hood was replaced by Hartley Sawyer, whose Kyle fell for Summer (then-Hunter King).
In 2015, a new face debuted as Kyle in the form of Lachlan Buchanan, posing here with his TV dad and Burgess Jenkins (then-Billy).
