Sibling Rivalry: Jeff and Rick Webber The Object Of Their Affection: Monica Bard When Monica landed in Port Charles in 1976, she was newly married to Jeff Webber — but Monica had only taken up with Jeff because she was on the rebound from his brother, Rick, who had been presumed dead in a plane crash in Africa. In 1977, a very-much-alive Rick escaped captivity and showed up in town — and it was obvious that neither Rick nor Monica had shaken their feelings for one another. Before long, they declared their love, but tried to remain at arm’s length out of respect for Jeff — a considerable challenge since they were living under the same roof. In time, they fell into bed, and Monica withheld sex from Jeff, hoping for a divorce. A despondent Jeff shot himself in the head, but survived. Rick ended things with Monica and proposed to Lesley, while Jeff agreed to end his union to Monica, who soon became entangled with a new doctor: her future husband, Alan Quartermaine.

Sibling Rivalry: Jason and A.J. Quartermaine The Object Of Their Affection: Keesha Ward In 1994, A.J. asked Port Charles newcomer Keesha out on a date. Jason was bummed when he met her and learned that A.J. had beaten him to the punch. However, Keesha and Jason soon started dating, while she maintained a friendship with A.J. In 1995, she and Jason lost their virginity to one another. When alcoholic A.J. fell off the wagon, Keesha covered for him, angering Jason. Then a catastrophic accident occurred: With a soused A.J. behind the wheel, there was a car crash, and Jason sustained brain damage that altered his personality and wiped out his memories. In 1996, he ended things with Keesha, a virtual stranger to him. A heartbroken Keesha rebounded with a sobered-up A.J. and they became lovers, and she forgave him when she found out in 1997 that he had actually caused Jason’s accident. Ultimately, though, his drinking was too big an obsta- cle, and they parted ways.

Sibling Rivalry: Elizabeth and Sarah Webber The Object Of Their Affection: Lucky Spencer Elizabeth crushed on Lucky when she arrived in town in 1997, but he only had eyes for her big sis, Sarah, who took up with his half brother, Nikolas. In 1998, Liz and Lucky fell in love after she was raped by Tom Baker, and Sarah moved away when Lucky nixed her suggestion that they date. She returned in 2002, though, as did her feelings for Lucky, who was in the process of rebuilding his relationship with Liz after a rocky period that included a presumed death and brainwashing. However, while Liz recuperated from a serious car wreck, he and Sarah started growing closer, and they started seeing each other behind Liz’s back. Liz’s feelings of betrayal ran deep when she caught Lucky in bed with her sister and she denounced them both. Sarah slinked out of P.C., and though Liz and Lucky eventually patched things up and took another trip down the aisle, they split again, seemingly permanently, in no small part due to her fling with Nikolas.

Sibling Rivalry: Michael and Morgan Corinthos The Object Of Their Affection: Kiki Jerome Morgan came home from military school in 2013 with a new squeeze, Kiki. Though Kiki denied it, Morgan picked up on the subtle attraction between Kiki and his older brother, Michael. Michael and Kiki secretly kissed, but vowed it would never happen again, especially after learning that they were first cousins (because his bio dad, A.J., and her bio dad, Franco, were half brothers). When Morgan found out that this was not true (Silas Clay really sired Kiki), he kept it to himself, then rushed Kiki into marriage. Post-nups, the truth about Kiki’s paternity came out, and when Kiki found out that Morgan knew about it and didn’t tell her, she dumped him, admitted her feelings for Michael, and began a relation- ship with him. After they split in 2014 and Morgan’s relationship with Kiki’s mom (!) went south, Kiki and Morgan began another round of their on-again, off-again relationship.
