GH’s Elizabeth Hendrickson (Margaux) is grateful to her old ALL MY CHILDREN castmate Rebecca Budig (ex-Greenlee) for helping her get settled when she moved to L.A. after leaving AMC as Maggie. “When I moved out to California, she helped me get a place,” Hendrickson reports. “She was like, ‘What do you need?’ and I was like, ‘I guess I need a bed!’ She was like, ‘I’m coming over,’ and she literally brought me an amazing mattress she was getting rid of that I literally had up until five years ago, and this really nice leather chair. She was like, ‘Take all of this. I’m redoing my house.’ She would do stuff like that for me all the time. When I broke up with my boyfriend, she let me stay at her house for a few weeks. She was married to Bob Guiney at the time and I was an awful houseguest. I was 25, and she was a little older and married; they got up at 5:30 in the morning to work out, they’d walk the dog, and I was single and going out and I was coming home at 2 o’clock in the morning and sleeping on their sofa. I didn’t realize at the time just how bad a guest I was! I was such a kid, and she really took good care of me.”

After surviving cancer and a devastating car crash in real life, Linsey Godfrey (Sarah, DAYS) is at home on the hospital set. “I’m okay with doctor jargon because I’ve had to say so many things like that, especially with chemo,” she explained on the Dishing With Digest podcast. “You have to relay messages all the time to people, like, if you go for a checkup and they want to know what chemo drugs I was on. I’m used to them and a lot of words I’ve heard before and I’ve had to say before, so I’m actually okay with a lot of the doctor jargon and I know what a lot of the doctor jargon means. We also always have a medical consult on here on set at all times. It’s not too bad. I don’t get too overwhelmed with it. I think sometimes I get a little overwhelmed with invading other actors’ personal spaces as far as medically speaking. I always give them a fair warning. I’m like, ‘Hey, I’m gonna touch your neck and I’m gonna open your eyelids. Are you safe with that? I just wanna make sure.’ And then I think at least once a day I choke myself between my stethoscope and my hospital badge as I’m trying to take it off.” To hear the full podcast and

For B&B alum Gina Rodriguez (ex-Beverly), wrapping her last season on JANE THE VIRGIN is bittersweet. “If I am blessed enough to continue to act and to do it in spaces like the ones Jennie [Snyder Urman, creator/executive producer] has created for me, I would be a very, very lucky human being,” Rodriguez raves of the experience. “We’ll see what life holds. I’ll keep working hard, and we’ll see how my journey opens up. I definitely want to keep acting. I do want to create opportunities for others that mean a lot to me, and definitely direct.” The actress also hopes to serve as narrator for the spin-off, JANE THE NOVELA, should the pilot get picked up. “If you want to talk about manifesting your future, it will go,” Rodriguez praises of the new show, which is based on Jane’s novels that she will write in the future. “The pilot is unbelievable. It is fantastic. I’ve been able to have this incredible role model in Jennie, who gives opportunities to so many, and Valentina [Garza], who was one of our writers on JANE, a fantastic writer, has put together a phenomenal spin-off. We hope that we can give something just as great as we did with JANE THE VIRGIN.” The series kicks off its fifth and final season on March 27 on The CW.

Y&R’s Noemi Gonzalez (Mia) gives big props to her soap husband, Jordi Vilasuso (Rey), for helping her to assimilate into the Genoa City scene. “Jordi has been beyond the sweetest, if that’s even possible,” gushed the actress. “Any question I might have I just text him and he makes me feel completely comfortable and never acts like I’m bothering him. He’s been very aware of the fact that this is my first experience on soaps and he’s been exceptionally helpful. He’s the best partner I could ever have to be introduced to YOUNG AND RESTLESS as a job. Obviously I know he’s a respected veteran, but there’s no ego with him,” she attests. “He’s very professional and he’s well-trained, but I never get the sense of, ‘Oh, let me teach this little girl something,’ you know what I mean? He’s really respectful. He’s a father, too, so I feel like he has that energy of, ‘Oh, let me help her.’ ”
