GH: Nikolas Milestone

Twenty years ago this week, Tyler Christopher made his GH debut as Nikolas Cassadine. The actor, who is currently on hiatus from the role, told Digest, “It just hit me recently, how fortunate I have been to play the same guy and watch him develop and open up over the years.” In honor of the milestone, we take a look back at some of the most important women in Nik’s Port Charles life. First, in 1996, Nikolas reunited with Laura (Genie Francis), the mother who had abandoned him as an infant on Cassadine Island.

1998: Nikolas’s first engagement was to Katherine (Mary Beth Evans), but a marriage never materialized.

2004: It was a joyful day when Nikolas tied the knot with Emily (Natalia Livingston).

2006: Courtney (Alicia Leigh Willis) died after giving birth to Spencer, her son with Nikolas.

2009: Nikolas and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) succumbed to their forbidden passion, causing trouble aplenty with Lucky.

2013: Britt’s (Kelly Thiebaud) big baby lie cost her a fiancé.

2014: Nikolas shared a ... complicated relationship with his dastardly grandmother, Helena (Constance Towers). Indeed, he may have fatally poisoned her.

2016: Despite having put out a hit on her, Nikolas wed Hayden (Rebecca Budig).
