In 1980, Herb Callison (Anthony Call) and Dorian Lord (Robin Strasser) wed on One Life To Live. Herb had recently been elected to the governship of Pennsylvania, with help from Asa Buchanan's illegal campaign contribution, one Dorian had convinced him to make. Dorian was hotly anticipating reigning as the First Lady of the state and eagerly planned her wedding to Herb. But on the very morning of the ceremony, Llanview erupted over the scandal of the illegal campaign contributions! Herb kept Dorian from finding out until after she said, "I do," and Dorian was in for a very unpleasant surprise at her wedding reception.

In 1992, Jill Foster Abbott (Jess Walton) remarried John Abbott on Young and Restless. In an effort to spark John's jealousy, Jill had dated Alex "Blade" Bladeson, then Victor Newman. Jill thought what she and Victor had was the real deal and would result in marriage; Victor set her straight, crushing her. En route to the ceremony, Taylor went into labor! Thorne helped her deliver little Thomas, who she named after St. Thomas, the location of Ridge's proposal to her in 1992. Taylor told Ridge the truth after seeing the natural bond between Ridge and Thomas.

In time, though, she became convinced that he had changed for the better. While Cassie had high hopes when she and Edmund made it official, their marriage ended in divorce later the same year.

In 2016, GH’s Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCullough) and Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) remarried before they moved to Berkeley, California with their daughter, Emma (Brooklyn Rae Silzer). The impromptu ceremony was conducted by Robin's uncle, Mac, who had gotten ordained online, and was attended by the bride's parents, Robert and Anna, as well as loved ones like Maxie and Elizabeth. This marked the couple's final appearance on the show; while McCullough has visited as Robin, Thompson quickly moved over to Young and Restless to play Billy Abbott.
