Daytime Emmy Awards Poll Results: See Who You Picked to Win This Year!

Since the nominations were announced back in July, fans have been anticipating the Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony, which is set to take place on October 17, starting at 7 p.m. ET. But while waiting for the big night to see who takes home the gold this year, Soap Opera Digest thought it would be fun to give you, the fans, a chance to vote on who you think should be Emmy winners this year.

Thousands of votes were cast in all of the major soap categories as readers selected their favorites from Bold and Beautiful, Days of Our Lives, General Hospital, and Young and Restless. (Remember, since Beyond the Gates premiered in February 2025, it isn’t eligible for nominations until next year’s Daytime Emmys.)

On Friday night, soap fans will be able to watch the actual Daytime Emmy ceremony at watch.theemmys.tv or via The Emmys app on their smart TV, tablet, or phone. But before then, take a look through the results of our online poll to see who you all chose to take home an Emmy Award, then see if any of those winners match up with the official ones chosen by the Blue Ribbon Panel!

    Mills is up for her third nomination in the Guest Performer category, and fans voted for her to take home the gold this year just as she did back in 2023 when she was awarded the Daytime Emmy for her work as GH’s unpredictable Heather.

    Your winner is: Lisa Yamada (Luna Nozawa, B&B) [53%]

    Yamada, who joined the cast of B&B as Luna in 2023, had quite the year as her character was revealed to be dangerously psychotic and murdered two men before kidnapping Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). For her work, Yamada earned her first Daytime Emmy nomination in the new Emerging Talent category and was the overwhelming favorite among fans to get the prize.

    Veteran actor Harrison received his first Daytime Emmy nomination for his work as GH’s Gregory, and his character’s illness and ultimate demise left fans not only in tears but rooting for him to win the award.

    Mansi — a previous winner in this category for her work as Abigail Deveraux DiMera on DAYS — is the fan pick to win her first Emmy since joining GH. Even by soap standards, she had a dramatic year on the show, between her character losing the baby she was carrying as a surrogate for one sister, Molly, then mourning the death of the other, Sam.

    The majority of respondents are hoping that this is the year five-time nominee Zamprogna finally takes home the gold. The actor certainly had a wealth of strong material in 2024 as Dante navigated the sudden and shocking death of his fiancée, Samantha McCall (Kelly Monaco).

    This is Wright’s eighth Daytime Emmy Award nomination in this category — she won in 2011 — and viewers felt that the actress’s heartfelt performances as Carly mourned the death of her mother Bobbie, played by the late Jacklyn Zeman, more than earned her the prize this year.

    GH was the center of plenty of drama in 2024, between the tragic losses of characters like Bobbie, Gregory, and Sam, the return of fan favorites like Lucky and Lulu, romantic moments like Brook Lynn and Chase tying the knot, and wild twists like learning that Sasha’s Holly’s daughter. It all added up to the ABC sudser running away with the lions share of the fan votes to win Outstanding Drama Series.
