In the Thursday, October 2 episode of Days of Our Lives, spoilers tease that Chanel (Raven Bowens) is heartbroken by what she thinks is Johnny’s (Carson Boatman) betrayal costing them custody of Little T, as Sophia (Rachel Boyd) panics. Also, Tate (Leo Howard) has something he wants to tell Brady (Eric Martsolf). Finally, Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) pays Holly (Ashley Puzemis) a visit in the hospital and gives her granddaughter some tough love.     Spoilers say Sophia panics. Is that what causes her to deal with the trash (either tossing something in or desperately pulling something out), or is it when Tate begins pressing her with questions about why she was there in the first place? Or does Tate instead discover the truth about Sophia paying Holly a late-night visit during the blackout?

    Whatever new detail Tate uncovers about Sophia, he immediately seeks out his father, Brady (Eric Martsolf), and confides in him about it. Will Brady admit to his son that he once suspected the abandoned firehouse baby might have been Tate’s child, but that a DNA test has since confirmed there is no biological connection?

    While in Horton Town Square, Johnny (Carson Boatman) approaches Tate and Brady. Has word already spread about the racy photo Holly supposedly sent him, or is Johnny instead pressing Tate with questions about Holly, his ex-girlfriend, as he tries to piece together why she would ever send such a picture?

    It appears Johnny and Brady are comparing notes about recent events. Will Sophia’s name surface during their conversation? After all, both men hold fragments of the truth, and if they combine what they know, they may finally unravel two mysteries at once — what really happened to Sophia’s baby and who actually sent Johnny that scandalous photo.

    Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Brady also cross paths in Horton Town Square. Having played a key role in the ongoing mystery surrounding Sophia’s baby, will University Hospital’s chief of staff share with Brady any additional pieces of crucial information?

    Kayla is also on hand to give hospitalized Holly (Ashley Puzemis, l.) and her grandmother Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) an important update on Holly’s condition following the fire in her dorm room that nearly cost her life.

    Things could end up far worse for Holly if it weren’t for Brady rescuing her and rushing her to the hospital. Maggie is deeply grateful that her granddaughter is safe and hugs her tightly, though she will also have some stern words and tough love to share with Holly.

    Holly is still furious at Tate for supposedly cheating on her with Sophia again, even though in reality he didn't. Will he finally explain his plan and the reasons behind his actions? Holly has not been coping well with the fact that Tate remains so determined to uncover the truth about his baby with Sophia, nor with the extreme lengths he seems willing to go to in order to get answers.

    Brady is convinced that Sophia’s baby might be the same one abandoned at the firehouse, but now that he learns the baby’s DNA does not match Tate’s, he seems to be back at square one. Or is he? Could Kayla offer a fresh perspective that changes everything?
