Behind The Scenes: Stars Share Snaps From The Week Ending in April 3

This past week, many stars from Days of our Lives, Beyond the Gates, General Hospital and Young and Restless have been posting images and videos they’ve taken on the set, in their dressing rooms, or in various corners of the studios where the shows are shot. Of particular interest this week? GH celebrated its 62nd anniversary and Mishael Morgan (Amanda) was back on the Y&R set, as was Melissa Ordway (Abby). General Hospital's Risa Dorken (Amy, r.) had fun with Dioni Michelle Collins (Deanna) backstage shooting the show's birthday episode. On Instagram, she wrote, “Congratulations on 62 years @generalhospitalabc !!!! Holy moly!🥳✨ I’m grateful to be back, ‘clocking in’ for my 9th year in Port Charles.💞Don’t miss today’s anniversary episode!”

Tamara Braun posed alongside her most recent Days of Our Lives love interest, Eric Martsolf (Brady), on her final day of filming. The actress, who first began playing Ava back in 2008, wrapped her run with the show last July, but due to the show's advance shooting schedule, her exit didn't air until this week.

Melissa Ordway (Abby, c.) shared a fun shot with returned Young and Restless co-star Mishael Morgan (Amanda), as well as on-screen husband Bryton James (Devon). Ordway wrote, “What could this trio be up to? 😉🥰” and she tagged the show. The fourth wheel in their former quadrangle, Conner Floyd (Chance), joked in the comments, “Guess my invite got lost in the mail…”

Beyond The Gates star Cady McClain (Pammy) shared, “On the lot after a rapid fire day of shooting, which in this particular job means very little rehearsal and trying to do the scene in one take, no matter how much dialogue you have. (I had a lot). Sometimes acting can feel like running through a mine field naked with your hair on fire. Came out of this day tired… but I know I gave my best. I always do. And that’s something I can hang on to.”

Carlo Rota (Jenz) and Lynn Herring (Lucy) posed on the new GH set for the Dr. Monica Quartermaine Cardiac Care Unit. It was at the dedication that Herring’s character of Lucy got to announce that this year’s Nurses Ball would be underwritten by Rota’s character, Jenz Sidwell.

Former All My Children stars Kelly Ripa (ex-Hayley Santos) and Mark Consuelos (ex-Mateo Santos) bid good-bye to the studio on the Upper West Side of New York City where their talk show has long been filmed. The show's new headquarters will be downtown.
