Wes Ramsey (Peter, GH): “Go on a date. I like to go and pick up the person that I want to take out. I like to open the door at the car and the restaurant for them. I like to pull their seat back at the table. I like to make sure they’re comfortable. And, I like to slow-dance to old music.”

Alison Sweeney (Sami, DAYS): “I always bake the old-fashioned way — from scratch. I don’t use mixes or frozen, purchased cookie dough. To me it tastes different, and half the fun is putting together all the ingredients and reading the recipe with my kids.”

Sal Stowers (Lani, DAYS): “Date [laughs]. I’m an old-fashioned dater. I believe that men should court the woman. You know, take her out to dinner. I also like talking on the phone. Love letters are really great to receive. They’re all things that I think would be considered old-fashioned today.”

Patrika Darbo (Shirley, B&B): “Read. I like to pick up a book and read a book. I do have my Kindle but I just love the feel of a book with an old-fashioned bookmark in it. And cards. I’ve gotten the loveliest cards from fans. When someone takes the time to handwrite a card and put a stamp on it, that means a lot. Not an email, but a card you can hold in your hand, with a personal note on it, sent in the mail. That’s a very special thing for me.”
