Moments after Adrian left his apartment, J.T. turned up at the professor’s door in search of Colleen. He phoned her from his cell to say that he’d spotted her car in the garage and that everyone is worried about her. In the
refrigerator/prison, Colleen awoke to see Jana, who claimed that Adrian
brought them there. Meanwhile, Jana’s disappearance made front-page news,
and Kevin and Lauren agreed to offer a reward. Then Kevin slipped out, much to Michael’s dismay.
J.T. went to Crimson Lights, where he talked to Daniel and Lily about
Colleen. They were alarmed to hear that her car is parked near Adrian’s
apartment since they had just questioned the professor and he’d claimed not
to have seen his lover. Back at their refrigerator, Jana told Colleen there
is no way out and badmouthed Adrian. Colleen started to cry about ever
trusting the lusty teacher. Miss Carlton told the barista about finding her
hair extension and necklace along with Carmen’s driver’s license at Adrian’s
pad. Jana spun a tale about the professor seeking stolen art and claimed
he’d killed Carmen because she’d discovered his incriminating art portfolio.
Kevin confronted Adrian at the university. Michael ran in after his brother.
Kev admitted he’d come to beat up the professor, but instead he pleaded for
info about Jana. Adrian maintained he didn’t know anything. A short time
later, Lily and Daniel came to the classroom with the exact same questions.
An irked Adrian left a message asking Colleen to please get back to him,
then went to check on her car. In the meantime, J.T. went back to Adrian’s
apartment and broke in. The sight of the unmade, post-sex bed made him look
sad. He found a dangly earring on the floor and looked concerned. The
teacher came home and was mighty angry to find J.T. in his place. Angry
yelling ensued.
Amber breezed into the coffeehouse where she ran into Jill and Katherine.
Kay announced that Violet Montgomery’s brother had moved to Australia years
ago. Over at Indigo, Cane spoke to a “mate” on the phone about shrimp on the
barbie and every other Aussie cliché until a kangaroo wearing an Olivia
Newton-John T-shirt hopped up to the bar. Okay, there was no kangaroo….
Amber visited Cane at Indigo for a Bloody Mary and flirting. She spotted a
man, who she said was with immigration. Cane worried. To throw the
immigration officer, Agent Lansing, off the trail, Cane pretended to be a
customer and totally dropped the Aussie accent for some kind of American
accent. After the man walked away, Amber slipped him an envelope and made a
seductive schemer face. While Kay was at the coffeehouse promising Jill that
she’d find her son, Cane was behind the bar again bemoaning to Amber about
how he’d have to go back Down Under without finding his mother. If they got
married, he could search all he wants, said Amber. Sexy sax music wailed as
innuendo and talk of a green card ensued.
Gloria and Lauren shared nice memories about Jana and looked through her
belongings for clues. They found out that she knows a very controversial and
lethal form of kick-boxing. Those martial arts skills didn’t work when some
strange man entered the refrigerator and took her down with a Taser gun.
While Jana wriggled and jerked on the floor, the man demanded the
inscription from Colleen or else. After waving the Taser at her, he left the
girls alone. When Jana came to, Colleen blabbed all about the reliquary code
and said that the man with the Taser must not learn the code because once he
did, he’d kill them. The man with the Taser returned and Coll zipped her
lips, but Jana volunteered to give the info and the thug brutally dragged
her out.
In his apartment garage, Adrian confessed to J.T. that Coll slipped out
without a word while he was showering. Meanwhile, Kevin got into his car and
a passenger slipped in: Jana!
