Who Is Javi on Days of Our Lives?
A new face in Salem may have some viewers wondering who is Javi on Days of Our Lives and how is he connected to the Hernandez family. Well, the character first debuted in the Oct. 28, 2024 episode and is played by daytime newcomer Al Calderon.
Gabi Hernandez was surprised to answer the door and see her cousin, Javi Hernandez standing there. They were thrilled to see each other, and she explained how they had heard about his mother’s passing and that Tia Hilda had bequeathed her engagement ring to Rafe Hernandez. Javi groused that Rafe was always her favorite and the son she wished she had. He explained he could have worn the ring himself or given it to a man he wanted to marry. Gabi filled him in on how her marriage to Stefan DiMera was ending but she was having second thoughts. Javi hoped things would work out and also that they would let him move in so he could have a fresh start in Salem.
Gabi happily agreed and even offered Javi a job working as her assistant since her last one tried to kill her and Rafe. Javi accepted and went to get his things from the car. Returning, he found divorce papers on the steps and consoled Gabi as she realized her marriage was over. Rafe was also happy to see Javi and shared his plans to use the engagement ring to propose to Jada Hunter. Javi wished him well and also urged Gabi to talk to Stefan face-to-face to see if they could work things out.
