Tuesday Fast Five With Don Diamont
Don Diamont (Bill, B&B) answers Digest’s five burning questions!
What scared you as a child?
“It’s kind of apropos for the genre in which we all make our living, and that would be DARK SHADOWS. My mom loved DARK SHADOWS. It came on in the afternoon, so we’d come home from school and I’d cuddle up with my mom and we would watch Barnabas. She’d keep the room kind of dark so it would be scary, and we’d watch it together.”
Which talk show would you love to guest on?
“If I had to narrow it down to one, it would have to be Jimmy Fallon. I would enjoy being on [Jimmy] Kimmel, too. Sorry, James Corden, who I think is great.”
What’s the oddest compliment you’ve ever received?
“It’s always, ‘You’re so much better-looking in person,’ which is something I think we always hear. I think that’s a compliment. I’m not entirely sure [laughs].”
What was the first play you ever saw?
“Fiddler on the Roof. My parents took me to see that, so that’s why it sticks out.”
Who would you like to see in concert but haven’t yet?
“The first who comes to mind is Justin Timberlake — or Beyoncé. I would personally appreciate it if they would do a concert together.”
