Stand-Out Scenes
B&B: The whodunnit continues to be a lot of fun. The list of suspects is basically everyone on the show, and it’s giving the cast lots of great scenes to play, with suspicions mounting and accusations flying.
DAYS: Will and Paul’s date was sweet; Paul is a gentleman, and Will is still exploring who he is. How the Paul/Will/Sonny triangle will end is anybody’s guess, but we’re enjoying the ride.
GH: Drew and Franco are a great odd couple. Their little misadventure in the sub-basement was a hoot, with some poignant moments sprinkled in. We doubt they’ll ever be as chummy as they were when they were kids, but it’d be great to see the two occasionally have each other’s backs.
Y&R: Raise your hand if you audibly gasped when J.T. grabbed Victoria by the throat. His violent behavior had slowly been developing over the past few months as he and Victoria have gotten close again, and while the scenes were tough to watch, they were very powerful and dramatic.
Things That Made Us Go Hmmm
B&B: Why is Hope sticking her nose in everybody’s business? We get that she wants to be there for Liam, but she is becoming a tad too overbearing.
DAYS: Chloe mentioned that her parents were there for her opening night in Vienna with Parker. Where is her sister, Joy? Also, Sonny was looking forlornly at his and Will’s divorce papers but on such a document, wouldn’t his legal name, Jackson, be listed instead of Sonny?
GH: Nelle’s got the crazy ex-girlfriend thing down pat, but she’s becoming increasingly ridiculous. And her evil plan to gaslight Carly feels contrived; Carly should immediately suspect Nelle, but the show is dumbing her down for the sake of plot.
Y&R: J.T. isn’t being too subtle when it comes to collecting evidence against Victor. It’s no wonder Victor is on to him! Suggesting that he and Victoria go to the stables while he and Reed hang out in the manse? Really?
Date Night
How refreshing was Francesca, Michael’s nurse date on GH? She seems smart, down-to-earth and completely different from Michael’s other love interests. We doubt they’re destined for destiny couple status, since she turned him down in the end, but it was nice to get to know her a bit!
