SOAP STARS AT THE MOVIES
Two daytimers can be seen on the silver screen this weekend: Kate Linder (Esther, Y&R) portrays Principal Trudy Navis in the Katie Holmes-driven Miss Meadows, which opens in theaters and On Demand today.
"Katie Holmes is a talented and incredibly generous actress and I am so excited to be part of this wonderfully original film,” raves Linder.
Also, DAYS alum Rachel Melvin (ex-Chelsea) makes her big screen debut in Dumb and Dumber To. “It follows very closely to the same premise and outline as the first one,” Melvin tells Digest. "The only difference is that we’re obviously 20, 21 years later, so the jokes are more current to today’s society. And it’s a little more raunchy, which I love. It pushes the boundaries a little bit more."
