The actions picks up where season 4 left off: Pete Garrett (Kristos Andrews) and Commissioner Lex Martin (Tristan Rogers) were inching closer to finding a missing Sara Garrett (Mary Beth Evans), who was being held hostage by her blackmailing husband, Steve Jensen (Matthew Ashford). Meanwhile, Lianna Ramos (Jade Harlow) was accused of intentionally shooting her fiancée and sought guidance from her abuelo Nardo (special guest star A Martinez) and psychiatrist Dr. Angela Foster (special guest star Vivica A. Fox}. After help from his father John “Blackwell” (Ronn Moss), Evan Blackwell (Brandon Beemer) and Tamara Garrett (Celeste Fianna) returned home from Europe amid the ongoing chaos, Daniel Garrett (Eric Nelsen) continued his search for love.
