Pierce on Bold and Beautiful — Everything You Need to Know
Pierce Peterson wasn’t on Bold and Beautiful for long, so it’s perfectly understandable if viewers might not remember the guy. Which is where we come in! The character first appeared on B&B in July 1998 and was portrayed by actor Paul Satterfield until his exit in April 1999. He did his best, but couldn’t quite find love!
Dr. Pierce Peterson was a motivational speaker and hypnotherapist who hired Taylor Hayes to work with him. As she watched him work his magic on various patients, Pierce began falling in love with her. His assistant, Bailey, urged him to pursue his feelings for Taylor and he began to question her relationship with Ridge Forrester. Taylor asked Pierce to hypnotize her so she would understand his methods better, and he briefly turned her 16 for an evening. But Ridge was concerned about Taylor’s safety and warned Pierce she was off the project. But Bailey was secretly hypnotizing Taylor into leaving Ridge for Pierce.
Unaware of his assistant’s scheme, Pierce thought Taylor was genuinely falling in love with him, especially after a disastrous dinner party she threw where Ridge acted out and their marriage suffered. However, after Bailey’s hypnosis was discovered, Pierce was horrified and quickly deprogrammed Taylor. She continued working with him, and Pierce began scheming with Brooke Logan to split up Taylor and Ridge. After releasing a self-help video, Pierce threw a gala party for Taylor, inviting everyone to celebrate their success. After she sprained her ankle at the party, Taylor decided to spend the night at Pierce’s, upsetting Ridge but delighting Brooke.
Unfortunately, when Pierce finally confessed his feelings to Taylor months later, she admitted she was pregnant and wouldn’t leave Ridge. Since he and Brooke now found themselves in the same boat, Pierce propositioned her and invited her to spend the night at his place. But after considering it, Brooke decided to stay in the guest room and that was the last anyone ever saw of Pierce.
