The P.I. Who Loved Them

Comments

Brittany Hodges, 1999
Brit and J.T. seemed perfect for each other: Both were rich, snobby and childhood friends. However, when Brittany spied the more desirable Billy Abbott, she dumped J.T. Still, he and Brit remained friends over the years.Rianna Miner, 2002
Once Brittany left J.T., he began a stormy on-again/off-again relationship with her pal Rianna. She eventually got together with a more serious boyfriend, Raul, who was furious to learn she’d lost her virginity to Hellstrom. She was just as furious when Raul insisted she sleep with him, too, and broke it off. Rianna then spent the night with J.T. Rianna was hurt when she realized J.T. was using her. Though she made up with Raul, Rianna left Genoa City to study in Europe.Colleen Carlton, Take 1, 2003
The younger Colleen befriended J.T. when she began tutoring him in English (as payback, he taught her to drive). Their friendship soon turned to love and though he was older, she encouraged him to grow up (more or less). Coll’s dad, Brad, was less than thrilled about his little girl seeing a college-age guy, but J.T. was respectful to Colleen and won over Carlton.Anita Hodges, 2003
Frustrated by Colleen’s desire to remain a virgin, J.T. ended up doing the deed with Brit’s mom, Anita (ew!). Coll was understandably devastated, but forgave him.Colleen, Take 2, 2004
Sure, Colleen was willing to give J.T. another chance after he slept with Anita, but his new career as a musician got in the way of their relationship, especially when his manager, Shiloh, began making goo-goo eyes at him. J.T. eventually decided not to head to California and became a private investigator right in town. But J.T. kept up his record of driving women away: Colleen chose to attend college in New York City.

Mackenzie Browning, 2005-06
After Colleen left for New York, J.T. hooked up with good-girl Mac. Though she lost her virginity to him (in a pup tent!), she was constantly paranoid about his friendships with Brittany and a recently returned Colleen, while he disapproved of her hanging around with Kevin. After she miscarried J.T.’s child (and had Kevin take her to the hospital), their relationship was pretty much over. J.T. ended up having a fling with Victoria (see below). Mac left town (yet another one to leave J.T.!) to build houses for Hurricane Katrina victims.Victoria Newman, Take 1, 2006
After learning that her then-fiancé, Brad, had kissed Sharon, a distraught Victoria turned to pal J.T. for comfort. They soon went from merely hanging out to gettin’ it on on his couch. Soon after, Mac left town and Vicky forgave Brad. However, Colleen was not thrilled when she learned that her future stepmom had slept with her ex. At Victoria’s bridal shower, Coll got revenge by making an embarrassing speech about how Vicky needed to get an STD test. No matter — Victoria and Brad still wed in May.Colleen, Take 3, 2006-07
With Mac and Victoria out of the picture, Colleen reunited with J.T. This time around, they enjoyed a much more mature relationship and moved in together; she also lost her virginity to him. Things turned sour, however, when J.T. was hardly around due to his demanding job schedule and she fell for her hunky art history professor, Adrian Korbel. Coll eventually left J.T. for her prof and her ex didn’t take it well. For weeks, he followed the duo around making snarky comments and allegedly tattled to the dean about them.Victoria, Take 2, 2007
After Victoria learned that Brad had cheated with Sharon, she and a dejected J.T. had much to talk about. They soon slept together again, but this time their relationship blossomed into something more than a one-night stand. Vicky is currently divorcing Brad and is pregnant (though she doesn’t know if J.T. or Brad is the dad). Though she and J.T. aren’t officially a couple, he’s given her the keys to his loft and has made it clear that he’s there for her anytime she needs him.
