Jack and Jill on Young and Restless — Their Scandalous History Revealed!
Jack and Jill on Young and Restless have been flirting recently, but these two have a rather complicated history that newer fans of the soap may not be fully aware of. Well, that’s where we come in! Let us fill you in on their Y&R past to see what the future might hold for the pair!
Jill Foster first encountered Jack Abbott while she was working for his father, John Abbott, at Jabot Cosmetics. However, Jill was also romantically involved with John, so when she started having an affair with his son, things got messy! Jill and John broke up and when Jack didn’t want anything to do with her, either, she sued him for sexual harassment!
John and Jill eventually reconciled and were married. Unfortunately, she was still fooling around with her step-son on the side, and when Katherine Chancellor showed John evidence of his wife’s infidelity, he had a stroke. Jill got 20% of Jabot in the divorce settlement, but was later shot in her shower! The main suspects in the attempted murder were John, Jack, and Katherine, but the guilty party turned out to be Sven Petersen, a masseur who Jill has rejected. When Sven kidnapped Jill, Jack came to her rescue. Jack and his siblings were not thrilled when their father once again remarried Jill and gave birth to his son, Billy Abbott.
Since then, Jack and Jill’s interactions have been more business-related, such as when Jill and Victor Newman plotted to ruin Jack and return Jabot to Chancellor Industries. Or when Jill went to work at Billy’s magazine, Restless Style, and published a story that got Billy, the Newmans, and Jack into legal trouble.
Now, Jack and Jill have been hanging out as friends as she shares updates on her struggles at Chancellor and he opens up about the difficulties of caring for Dina as her Alzheimer’s worsens. They each have offered the other a shoulder to lean on and thrown in a little flirting as they reminisce about their scandalous past together. Things may not have worked out back then, but might this be the perfect time for Jack and Jill to pursue a romance?
