Harmon’s Extreme Home Makeover
Having spent the last year slaving over his Mediterranean-style home, THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL’s Winsor Harmon (Thorne) finally has a place to pamper those hardworking muscles.
“I have a 300-square-foot bathroom that looks like a spa,” brags the Do It Yourself guru. “It’s unbelievable. My tub is a Maax Pearl. It’s got lights in it, those bubbles and Jacuzzi jets, an inline heater — which keeps the water at a certain temperature — and a floating remote control for the television. It’s pretty sick.”
Not that he actually uses the tub much. “I’ve got a 14-inch shower head that rains about 3 1/2 gallons of water per minute,” Harmon exults with a twinkle in his eye. “But I’m still a big fan of the lights in the tub!”
Harmon is very proud of the house, and with good reason: “I design everything myself and do a lot of the work myself,” he reveals. “I work on it room by room, because I like to pay very close attention to the details. It’s a passion of mine.”
With an end finally in sight, Harmon has only one concern. “When I finish this house, I don’t know what I’m going to do,” he frets. “Start on someone else’s?”
