Brooke Logan Forrester
Previously Known As: Ridge’s faithful follower, in or out of wedlock
Now Known As: Freethinking businesswoman

All of Brooke’s dreams came true in 2004 — she finally had a child with Ridge, she married him with his other children’s blessing, and she set herself up in his mansion as the undisputed lady of the house. She was so happy she wouldn’t dream of disagreeing with Ridge over anything; whatever he wanted was good enough for her, until Ridge wanted to one-up brother Thorne. She agreed with Ridge that allowing Thorne to use the Forrester name on Spectra Couture clothing was an infringement of Forrester’s copyright and a potential marketing problem, but she didn’t buy his argument that his stance was all about business. She knew Ridge was more than a bit jealous of his once-docile baby brother taking the spotlight, and she didn’t like the idea of forcing Eric overboard as CEO just to placate Ridge’s ego. So she did what nobody thought she would do: when the stockholders voted on whether or not to remove Eric, Brooke and her 49 percent of the company voted No. The act of defiance sent shockwaves through the room and stunned everyone, including her smug husband. Even archrival Stephanie had to nod with respect and admiration.
Thomas Forrester
Previously Known As: Ridge and Taylor’s son
Currently Known As: Amber’s boy toy

Most parents have a difficult time accepting their children as adults with romantic relationships of their own, and Ridge was no different with son Thomas. Of course, the process was made much more difficult by Thomas’ choice of woman — Amber Moore. Considering her long and convoluted history with Rick, Amber was the last person Ridge wanted his son to take interest in. Yet there they were, comforting each other once Rick moved on with Caitlin, leaving Amber and Thomas in the cold. Thomas had every opportunity to drop Amber and keep the peace, but he (and his hormones) pushed on, refusing to give up the first woman in his fledgling love life. In the face of a restraining order, Rick putting the moves on Amber, and even a pregnancy scare, Thomas stood by his woman. The family was furious, but they learned they couldn’t control him any longer.
Amber Moore
Previously Known As: Rick Forrester’s wife; troublemaker from the Valley
Now Known As: Forrester peacemaker

Amber never listened to certain people — Ridge and Brooke in particular — but she always had a soft spot for Stephanie. The family tolerated her marriage to Rick because Stephanie supported it, and she was given a chance as a designer because Stephanie believed in her. So when Amber found herself in a hot affair with Stephanie’s grandson Thomas, she knew her beloved defender could easily become her worst enemy. Sure enough, Grandma was not amused and immediately went to Amber to shame her out of the relationship. Everyone thought that would be enough to scare Amber off the trail, but it wasn’t. Knees knocking and teeth chattering, Amber confronted her former champion and refused to give Thomas up. Stephanie railed, but Amber stood firm. Eventually Amber moved in with Stephanie and Eric and continued to openly see Thomas, despite the family’s displeasure. She even worked to smooth the waters between Stephanie and Brooke by pointing out the similarities between herself and Brooke over the years (Stephanie wasn’t buying it, but that’s beside the point). The troublemaker forged a truce, and got to keep her boyfriend in the process.
