GH Recaps Week of April 3, 2006

At Kelly’s, Lorenzo tried to woo Skye away to the Metro Court. At GH, mopping Manny made nice with Liz and scored a knife from an amigo. His scheming halted when angry Lucky kicked his bucket (seriously!). In the lounge, Alexis asked Lainey about Sam and Jason’s possibly abusive relationship (without naming names). Sam put flowers on Danny and her baby’s graves, conflicted about telling Alexis about their designer genes. Jason learned Sonny was at the Quartermaines’. Dillon tried to cut tension there by citing The Godfather and Goodfellas as guidelines (how about Lolita?) and then Emily entered the fray. Lucky threatened Manny, “I can harass you as much as I want,” but Liz talked him down. Lorenzo wanted Skye out of Kelly’s since Manny lived upstairs, so she invited him to take her to GH for her check-up. Lulu snuck back in to cheerlead Sonny and Emily while the rest of the family hoped Em would cave. She didn’t. Ned gently asked if Sonny was worth “dodging bullets.” Yep. Alan grimly told Emily she was no longer welcome in the house. Jason informed Max that when Sonny returned, he wanted to meet him alone. “You might want to rethink that,” Carly warned from behind him.
Skye and Lorenzo came to GH, giddy about impending parenthood, and then Lorenzo and Liz heard Epiphany kvetching about the tattooed janitor disappearing. Robin made Patrick get back in bed (alone), reminding him that he needed to conserve his energy to face Noah. “Don’t make me restrain you!” “I’d love to see you try!” Monica cleared the foyer so she and Alan could talk to Emily alone. “I don’t care about Emily and Sonny. I care about you,” Carly told Jason. “If you don’t stop, you could get hurt.” On the pier, an ugly-sweatered Nikolas and Maxie discussed her grief over Jesse. Alan, irked that Sonny was ruining yet another one of his kids, stalked off and Monica tried a different approach. “What about Jason? Are you going to go against him, too?” Yep. Sonny and Emily left together. Carly pleaded with Jason to count to 10 before he did something rash, like he always told her to. “I choose you,” Emily assured Sonny. “The worst is over.” Jason loved them and would eventually want their happiness. (That’s what you think!) Sam talked to dead people about Jason, Sonny, Emily and Alexis and then talked to a live person: Father Coates. At GH, Ric found Alexis distracted by domestic violence pamphlets. (Put down the pillow, Ric!) No, no, they were because of Sam!
In Manny’s room, gun-toting Lorenzo burst in on Jason and they went all Reservoir Dogs on each other. “Put it down.” “You first.” Lucky joined in! But there was still no Manny. Maxie feared she’d lose it at a formal police funeral. “There’s no time limit on how long you can grieve,” Nikolas advised (He’d grieved Courtney for a few weeks and change!). Noah awoke groggy and confused Bobbie for his wife. Robin returned to a bummed Patrick with a Noah update instead of handcuffs. Patrick said he owed Noah the truth about the transplant. Carly blasted Sonny and Emily for hurting the boys and Jason and suggested they flee to the island before Jason returned and did something (like kill them, not like “redecorate the living room”). Sonny tried to boot his ex. Fine, Carly would leave…but she’d take Emily with her. “How could I ever forgive a woman who didn’t care enough to keep me?” Sam asked. “You can start by thanking her,” Father Coates replied. Back at GH, Alexis told Ric she felt compelled to help Sam. Nearby, Manny was appearing and disappearing and a freaked Liz called Lucky. Carly threatened to drag Emily out by her hair. Valuing her locks, Em kissed Sonny and left. Alert, Noah demanded to know whose liver he’d gotten. “Mine,” said Patrick as Robin wheeled him in. Since Coates’ words resonated, Sam considered telling Alexis the truth…and Alexis arrived with flowers. Carly directed Max to take her and Emily to the “middle of nowhere” as Jason found Sonny waiting for him with a gun. “You think you’re gonna need that?” “It’s up to you.” At GH, Liz spied Manny stalking Skye. She sprang, hitting him from behind. He snagged the petite nurse, holding her at knifepoint as Lucky rushed off the elevator and drew his gun.
