GH ALUM’S SCARY STAGE SHOWS

Comments

Ronnie Marmo (ex-Ronnie, GH) is serving up chills and thrills on both coasts: His Theatre 68 NY company is performing Dracula, which he’s producing. It opens tonight, October 24, and runs through Saturday, November 1.

“It is so cool and so scary and so gory,” Marmo raves. “This is our 7th production as a company in New York in three years, and this is our biggest and our best yet. It’s a totally unique interpretation straight from the book, so it’s pretty groundbreaking.” When Marmo returns to the West Coast, he’ll be directing Serial Killer Barbie at Theatre 68 LA, which kicks off November 7. “This is the first musical I’ve ever directed,” Marmo shares. “The story made me laugh a lot. It’s hysterical. The title really got me so I said yes. Anyone who has ever been bullied will love this show.” Marmo encourages soap fans in both cities to come out. “I’m one of those weird directors who watches the show every night and gives notes, so if any GH fans want to come say hello, that would be great!” he enthuses. “I’ve been gone almost three years now and the fans are so great to me. I feel like I’m still on the show!”
