General Hospital Spoilers Video: ‘It Didn’t Have To Be Like This’

Delayed Heartbreak

On the Thursday, May 29, episode of General Hospital, spoilers tease that the fallout continues over the secret Brook Lynn and Lois kept for the last 22 years. Ned and Brook Lynn have a heart-to-heart talk about what she went through and how he would have wanted to be there for her. Now she wonders if she’ll ever get the chance to be there for her child. “What if my son never gives me the chance to love him?” Brook Lynn tearfully asks her dad. Will Ned have the right words to soothe her heart?

Gio is reeling but his friendship with Emma is grounding him. She has taken him to the bridge that meant so much to her mother, Robin, and she’s proving she can be there for him in the same way he has been there for her time and time again. “Where you go I go,” Emma tells Gio. What does this mean, though? Is he looking to leave Port Charles?

Back at the Quartermaine mansion, Tracy talks with someone unseen. “I guess congratulations are in order,” she coldly tells the person. There is a good chance that Lois has returned home, but Brook Lynn did tell her mother she wants nothing to do with her right now. So it could actually be Sonny, yet another person Tracy has no use for. Sonny may be there hoping to pave the way for a reconciliation between Lois and Brook Lynn.

Opening Up

Despite their emotional past, Sasha proves herself to be a good friend to her cousin (and ex), Cody, and advises him. He kept the secret about the pregnancy from his best friend for 22 years, and he is probably worried that Dante won’t forgive him. Cody also probably regrets helping Lulu unearth the information about Gio. “It didn’t have to be like this,” he tells Sasha.

After talking things out with Michael, Willow goes back to the car and discusses what went down with Drew. “He gets his way, I’ll never see them again,” she tells her congressman lover. Meanwhile, Michael and Jason debrief about the situation and all that has transpired this evening. Jason worries about Michael’s kids. “Is there any room for a compromise?” Jason asks Michael.

After Dante gets an update from Brook Lynn about how the baby secret may have made its way to Gio’s ears, Dante confronts Lulu. “You think I did this to win you back?” she asks.
