General Hospital Spoilers Promo: ‘You Know the Kids Belong With Me’

Family Ties

The General Hospital Nurses Ball may be over, but in the spoilers preview for the week of May 26, the fallout from the gala event continues, starting with Brook Lynn demanding answers from her mother! With tears in her eyes and her voice cracking, Brook Lynn asks Lois a very important question: “Is Gio my son?” Lois, too, is equally emotional as the truth of what she did over twenty years ago has finally been exposed. But will Brook Lynn understand her mom’s reasoning for wanting to keep Gio close by? Meanwhile, Tracy can be heard saying, with a hint of wonder in her voice, “It was you all along.” Is she officially welcoming Gio, the Quartermaine houseguest, into the family fold… or is she speaking to someone else? (You know, like the guy responsible for her arrest at the ball?!)

Time to Pay the Piper

As it turns out, Brook Lynn isn’t the only person who has a bone to pick with Lois. In the Metro Court Gardens, Olivia is seething mad that her best friend never told her that they share a grandson and doesn’t want to hear any excuses when Lois explains why she gave Brook Lynn and Dante’s baby to her cousin, Camila, to raise. “You did what was best for you!” Olivia roars. Will their lifelong friendship be forever fractured from this betrayal?

The promo next shows a crying Lulu (who has changed out of her gown into more comfortable loungewear) and a bewildered Dante, still dressed in his tux. Has he figured out his ex-wife’s role in exposing Lois’s long-kept secret?

Battle Lines Drawn

Willow thought that her custody fight with Carly — as Michael’s proxy — would be an open and shut case in her favor, especially since her husband had agreed to let her have the children on the night of his accident. But now that Michael is all healed up and back in town, he is prepared to fight to the bitter end to make sure that Wiley and Amelia end up in his care and far, far away from Willow and Drew. “This isn’t right,” Willow cries, tears in her eyes and her face full of fear that she might actually lose custody. “You know the kids belong with me.” Calm, cool, and collected, a stoic Michael firmly disagrees with his estranged wife’s assertion: “Not anymore.”
