General Hospital Recap: Willow Confesses to Chase, Michael Grows Suspicious of Brook Lynn
The Thursday, May 28, episode of General Hospital was full of confessions and confrontations — and a major light-bulb moment. Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) confessed to Chase (Josh Swickard) that she felt trapped in her marriage to Drew (Cameron Mathison), Gio (Giovanni Mazza) helped Trina (Tabyana Ali) work through a personal predicament, Cody (Josh Kelly) and Molly (Kristen Vaganos) were caught in a compromising position, Portia (Brook Kerr) confronted Curtis (Donnell Turner), and Michael (Rory Gibson) had reason to believe Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) was covering up a crime. Here’s how it all went down.
Music Matters
At Bobbie’s, Trina opened up to Gio about how upset she was over Curtis assaulting Isaiah, and how that rippled out to Isaiah not being able to perform Derek’s surgery. With everything going on with her family, Trina wasn’t feeling up to the musical showcase. Pointing out that music was a great emotional outlet, Gio encouraged her to reconsider and offered to listen if Trina wanted to talk things out. Trina revealed that she’d normally confide in Josslyn, but according to Carly, her roommate was back in Australia dealing with a family issue. In the end, Trina decided to go forward with the showcase.

Creative Spark
At Alexis’s house, Molly and Cody were recreating a sex scene from her book. Suzanne showed up to drop off files for Alexis and interrupted them, then realized that Cody was the inspiration for “Casey” in Molly’s book. Once they were alone again, Cody admitted to Molly that he didn’t mind if her fans knew that Casey was based on him.

Payback
Brook Lynn told Tracy that Alexis was tracking down a lead on Delilah, adding that the lawyer felt that she and Chase were ideal candidates to adopt Phoebe. Meanwhile, while he was moving Brook Lynn’s car, Chase heard a rattling sound. He advised Brook Lynn that they should bring her vehicle into the shop. Chase then headed off to work, grabbing Amelia’s stuffed bunny on his way out to drop off at Willow’s house.
Portia arrived and informed Tracy and Brook Lynn that the fight between Curtis and Isaiah had left Dr. Gannon with a badly broken hand, and he wouldn’t be able to perform a complex surgery on Derek, his young patient. Portia asked if the Quartermaines would help get Derek to a hospital in Chicago for another doctor to do the procedure, and a guilty Brook Lynn volunteered to pay for the transport. Once she’d escorted Portia out, Tracy chastised Brook Lynn for blaming herself for Derek’s situation and the fight between Isaiah and Curtis.

The Gambler
Curtis disclosed his legal charges to Michael, not wanting a potential trial to be a PR disaster for Aurora. He glowered to Michael that he was certain Isaiah was the driver who’d left the scene of the accident, since the paint on the guardrail had come from a black BMW like the one Isaiah drove. Curtis hoped he could find an attorney who would convince ADA Turner to give him a plea deal, but Michael warned that it was a risky gamble.

Stuck With You
Willow told Drew that Sidwell was the one calling the shots, but she was working on something that would free them both. She then boasted that she was doing a better job representing the people of Port Charles in Congress than he ever did and intended to keep this job. However, she couldn’t stop drugging Drew because she knew he’d try to control her again. Willow explained to Drew that she couldn’t stop injecting him until she got her hands on something incriminating that would give her leverage over him.
Sidwell arrived at the house, and Willow expressed her concerns about Jack suffering the same condition as Drew looking suspicious, and Jenz reminded her that’s why she needed to keep both men incapacitated. He quickly dismissed her suggestion they stop drugging Drew, and then privately took a phone call where he berated someone for not yet locating Britt.

After Willow returned, Sidwell reminded her who was in charge, but she angrily stood up to him, noting that he needed her congressional powers. He countered that they could stop drugging Drew — but the only way to keep him from exposing what they’d done would be to kill him. Horrified, Willow refused. Sidwell, distracted by Britt’s disappearance, ordered Willow to figure out how to make it work with Drew. On his way out, Sidwell praised the work Willow had done in funding the WSB and instructed her to keep it up, wanting the agency to have access to all available resources.
Alone, Willow broke down in tears but pulled herself together when Chase dropped by to deliver Amelia’s stuffed animal. Noticing that Willow was clearly upset about something, Chase encouraged her to confide in him, and she blurted out that she felt trapped and didn’t want to be married to Drew anymore.

Feeling Rattled
Portia angrily barged into Curtis’s office and spat at her ex that Isaiah needed multiple surgeries and might never be able to operate again. When Curtis blamed Isaiah for starting it all by leaving him and Jordan for dead, Portia called him self-righteous and challenged him about what he’d do when Isaiah was found innocent. Meanwhile, Michael arrived home to hear Tracy yelling at the BMW dealership about a rattle coming from Brook Lynn’s car for six weeks — and realized that his cousin may have been on Route 91 the night of Curtis and Jordan’s accident.

What will Michael do about his realization regarding Brook Lynn? Will Willow confide in Chase about what she’s done to Drew? Will the tension between Portia and Curtis affect her pregnancy? Let us know what you thought about the latest episode of GH in the comments below!
