1994: The second child and only daughter of Luke and Laura Spencer, Lesley Lu Spencer (named in honor of her maternal grandmother) was born on August 8.
1996: Lulu was diagnosed with aplastic anemia. When neither her parents nor brother Lucky was a bone marrow match, Laura revealed that she had another child, Nikolas, sired by Stavros Cassadine, who had been born when she was held captive by the Casssadines in Greece. Nik donated his bone marrow, saving Lulu’s life.
2000: When Lucky returned from the dead, he made contact with his little sis and swore her to secrecy about his presence in Port Charles.
2002: Lulu was delighted by her parents’ plan to remarry, but the ceremony didn’t come to fruition, and Laura suffered
a psychological breakdown.
2004: When Lesley (who had helped rear Lulu after Laura was institutionalized) was hospitalized, she agreed to let Heather Webber (who, unbeknownst to her, had poisoned her) help care for Lulu.
2005: Now a feisty teenager, Lulu reluctantly moved in with Luke and stepmother Tracy and was a proud bridesmaid at Lucky’s wedding to Liz.
2006: Lulu survived an encephalitis outbreak at G.H., graduated from high school, and traveled to the Maarkham Islands to track down Luke on one of his adventures. She and Diego Alcazar conspired to split up young marrieds Dillon and Georgie. She became pregnant when she lost her virginity to Dillon (after lying to Dillon that Georgie was sleeping with Diego) and had an abortion. Lulu enjoyed time with her mother when she temporarily emerged from her catatonic state. Before slipping back into it, Laura divulged to Lulu that she was certain she had not killed her stepfather, Rick Webber. Jason rescued Lulu and Spinelli from Alcazar’s henchmen.

2007: Lulu was injured in the Metro Court hostage crisis, but survived. Lulu learned that Jason, not Lucky, was Jake’s father, and confronted Elizabeth. Lulu found out who really killed Rick (it was Scott) and decided to keep mum. She was devastated when she learned that Luke had raped Laura. Logan Hayes (Scott Baldwin’s surprise son) courted Lulu, who had no idea that he’d bet Maxie that he’d be able to seduce Lulu. When the truth came out, Lulu dumped Logan and took up with mob scion Johnny Zacchara. Lulu suspected that Logan was the serial slayer known as the Text Message Killer and rendered him comatose when she struck him with a pipe wrench.

2008: Lulu and Maxie went to work at Crimson. Logan began to stalk Lulu, and when he broke down her door to stop her from calling the cops (she’d spied him attacking Maxie), she fatally stabbed him in self-defense. She and Johnny went on the run and Lulu, haunted by Logan’s ghost, eventually ended up at Shadybrook. The truth about Logan’s demise came out and Scott threatened to seek the death penalty; Laura emerged from her catatonia long enough to talk him down.
2009: Lulu befriended Ethan Lovett, who turned out to be Luke’s surprise son by Holly and her half brother. Lulu began dating one of Sonny’s new employees, Dominic, but soon learned that he was really an undercover cop named Dante and the son of Johnny’s new squeeze, Olivia.
2010: Psycho artist Franco kidnapped Lulu and strapped her to a bomb; Dante rescued her. At Josslyn’s christening, where Lulu was being named her godmother, Sonny shot Dante, and Liv blurted out that Sonny is Dante’s father. Carly blamed Lulu and Dante for Michael confessing to Claudia’s murder, so she hired Brook Lynn Ashton to split them up. It didn’t work. Dante’s secret past with Brenda caused a short-term Dante/Lulu rift.
2011: Lulu was shattered when Luke’s out-of-control drinking culminated in him fatally running down Jake, Liz and Lucky’s son. She participated in an intervention for Luke, who skipped town. Lulu took over as the proprietor of The Haunted Star, Luke’s casino. Lulu and Dante hit a rough patch when he concealed that Lucky was using drugs again, but eventually, they reconciled and tied the knot in Brooklyn at Christmastime.

2012: Lulu ended up in danger when she uncovered that Ronnie was a dirty cop. He kidnapped Lulu and Sam; Dante and John McBain rescued them. Dante was wary when Lulu turned The Haunted Star into a nightclub with Johnny as her business partner. Lulu and Dante’s dream of expanding their family was dashed when she learned that she was unable to carry a child to term. Maxie agreed to be their surrogate and the Falconeris were overjoyed when she became pregnant.
2013: Lulu was kidnapped and whisked away to Cassadine Island by a back-from-the-dead Stavros, who forced her to marry him, then cryogenically froze her. Laura, Luke and Dante came to her rescue, but upon revival, she was amnesiac. Eventually, Lulu recalled her life and love for Dante. Maxie gave birth to a girl, who Dante and Lulu named Connie. But Connie turned out to be Maxie and Spinelli’s bio daughter (they renamed her Georgie, in honor of Maxie’s late sis), and after a nasty court battle that tested both Maxie and Lulu’s friendship, and Dante and Lulu’s marriage, Spinelli won custody. When Lulu learned that her remaining embryos had been destroyed, she was gutted, and walked out on Dante.

2014: Dante and Lulu got back together and were in for a serious shock when it was revealed that her ob/gyn, Britt Westbourne, had stolen one of the Falconeris’ embryos and given birth to their son, who she called Ben. Britt’s mom, Obrecht, kidnapped the baby, but he was eventually returned to Lulu and Dante, who renamed him Rocco. They also got their last embryo back and explored having another kid. Lulu and Maxie mended fences, but on Maxie’s wedding day to deranged Levi, he took them hostage. Dante came to rescue her and the duo both ended up as captives at the Crichton-Clark Clinic, where Stavros tried to implant a Stavros/Lulu embryo into her. They were saved in time (and Stavros was killed), though their last embryo appeared to be destroyed.
2015: Lulu stood by Luke’s side when her father suffered a long mental unraveling — of which Lulu was nearly a casualty when his evildoing partner, Helena, had The Haunted Star rigged with explosives. She also welcomed her heretofore unknown cousin, Valerie, into the Spencer fold. When Dillon returned to town crushing on Lulu, the duo joined Luke and Laura abroad in a quest to track down a kidnapped Lucky. Dante mistakenly believed that Lulu was sleeping with Dillon and in his devastation, he hit the sheets with Val. Lulu shared a bittersweet good-bye with Luke when he left town to find himself. When Lulu found out about Dante’s affair, they separated. Fugitive Johnny returned to town and Lulu concealed his presence, enlisting his help in getting revenge against Valerie.

2016: Lulu felt great remorse when as a result of her collusion with Johnny, Valerie nearly died in a fire. Johnny went back to jail, but made it clear to Lulu that he still pined for her. Lulu and Dante divorced, but soon reconciled. Lulu mourned when Valentin Cassadine killed her brother, Nikolas, while he was holding various Port Charles citizens (including Lulu, Dante and Laura) hostage on Cassadine Island. Once back home, Lulu and Dante remarried on Thanksgiving in their new house (which had been purchased with a secret financial assist from Sonny). Lulu met Charlotte, Valentin Cassadine’s daughter, and felt an instant connection with her. Indeed, Lulu learned that Charlotte was her daughter, thanks to a convoluted series of Helena-influenced events.
2017: Lulu fought Valentin for custody, but won only visitation rights. Lulu and Valentin later agreed to share custody.
