Ezra on General Hospital — Everything You Need To Know
Councilman Ezra Boyle is new to General Hospital, but portrayer Daniel Cosgrove should be very familiar to soap fans because he’s been on tons of them in the past! The actor has played Scott Chandler on All My Children, Bill Lewis on Guiding Light, Christopher Hughes on As the World Turns, and Aiden Jennings on Days of Our Lives… and now he’s adding GH to his resume! Ezra first appeared in the March 21, 2025, episode, and here’s everything we know about the guy!
Councilman Ezra Boyle joined Congressman Drew Cain at the hospital for the announcement of the new pediatric sports program. They commiserated about the esplanade plans, and Ezra blamed Mayor Laura Collins’ connection to Sonny Corinthos for why they couldn’t relocate it. He also spoke with Jordan Ashford and told the deputy mayor that Laura really should have attended the press conference herself.
Ezra joined Laura and Jordan at the Port Charles Grill to complain about further delays in constructing the esplanade and brought up the mayor’s connection to a notorious crime lord. Laura shut him down and left, at which point Ezra informed Jordan she could be the next mayor if she publicly distanced herself from the current mayor’s mob ties.

Drew asked Ezra to use his connections to tear down the Quartermaine crypt, and the councilman soon arrived on the property with a sheriff, construction crew, and a court order. Emma Scorpio chained herself to the crypt in protest, and Trina Robinson live-streamed the whole thing on her phone. Tracy Quartermaine joined Emma and declared to Trina’s camera that this was all about Drew’s abusing his power to further his vendetta against his family. Anna Devane arrested Emma, but when the officers tried to arrest Tracy, Diane Miller arrived with a court order saving the crypt from demolition. Ezra went to Drew’s office to report the failure because Monica Quartermaine struck a deal with the Port Charles Land Trust.
Encountering Laura having lunch with Sonny at The Metro Court, Ezra once again brought up her ties to organized crime, clearly not giving up beating that particular dead horse.
