EXCLUSIVE! GREG VAUGHAN ON DAYS EXIT

Comments

In an interview in this week’s Digest, DAYS’s Greg Vaughan (Eric) talks about his exit from Salem. "Of course, there’s disappointment because this is your livelihood, and you have children to think about,” he admits. "In hard times, you’ve got to make difficult choices and it really affected us in a lot of ways. I was also disappointed because you never think you’re going to be the person to get the call. It was kind of like going back to when I was at GH and got that call that I was let go and Jonathan [Jackson] was coming on [to reclaim the role of Lucky]. That’s why I never emotionally get comfortable anywhere anymore, so it was easier to kind of accept.” He will last air on April 15. Happily, the actor already has a plum new gig on the OWN series, QUEEN SUGAR. “It’s ’s just going from one high to another high extremely quickly. I’ve been living this dream for 22 years, through the highs and the lows, and I’m still going strong; I keep moving forward,” he says. For the full story, pick up the new Digest, on sale now.
