Days of our Lives’ Casey Moss (JJ) and fiancée True O’Brien (ex-Paige) got engaged back in June 2022, yet the pair have yet to nail down any definitive plans, let alone picked out a wedding date. That is, until now.

Making It Official

“We’re not hesitant in getting married. We want to get married,” insists Moss, noting that the hold up has been “going over the details, going over locations, and going back and forth about the date, but I think we finally set one. We were going back and forth between 9-20-25 and 5-25-25 for quite some time. I think we finally landed on 5-25-25, and that happened this morning,” he adds with a chuckle.

The couple came to a decision after a recent vacation. “We just came back from Hawaii,” explains Moss. “My older brother [Justin O’Neal] is out there, and he’s also an ordained minister. I had no idea that he was officially licensed until we were out there, because he was a warrant officer in the Army. He was like, ‘I’ll absolutely marry you guys.’ And we almost got married right then and there, but then we thought about family and everything.”

Moss and O’Brien quickly ditched the idea of an impromptu ceremony. However, they did continue to contemplate exchanging “I Do’s” in the Aloha State. “Going to Hawaii was like, ‘Do we want get married on the West Coast in California or do we want to get married in Hawaii?’ ” notes Moss. “Then we finally went over the logistics the past couple of days and decided we’re sticking to Los Angeles.”

With a date and a general location secured, the couple can finally begin planning the venue and other specifics of their wedding day. One thing Moss and O’Brien have both agreed on is the size of their nuptials. “It’s going to be small and intimate,” says Moss. “I don’t want to do anything crazy, and True doesn’t want to do anything crazy. We’re just going to keep it about us and not about everyone else.”

While some grooms leave all the planning and preparations to their brides-to-be, Moss won’t be one of them. In fact, he intends to be actively involved in his and O’Brien’s wedding. “In our entire relationship, we’ve always split responsibilities,” shares Moss. “So I can’t leave her hanging with this one. I don’t want to throw all this on her. She’s got too much going on as it is.”
